Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

Warning: too serious comment. I Like it all , but the shower moment and anything sausages is my favorite. You cheer me up in a tough period in my life. You are beautiful at any size being honest about life and about yourself . Yes Im tempted to say you'll be the best parents ( and you may be upset about it ) but you genuinely even on this virtual platform are simply great

I know people who went into professions such as law and medicine and became depressed. One of them even had serious medical problems that continue. But once they followed their dreams, it got better. Good on you!

I think some of the appeal you guys have is that you show where you are travelling but you aren't doing crazy things to make people watch you, you are down to earth and I am so glad that Emma is happy :) Depression sucks big time !!

It took me a bit to realize that I had been missing your videos thanks to youtube's stupid new policy to no longer send out e-mail notifications. I have a little catching up to do! You obviously made the right decision to go home and take care of yourself. I mean look at you now! Totally worth it to be able to say that you are happy... which shows because you look amazing, Emma! Kudos to Alex for standing by you and loving you enough to want to see you happy and healthy. Your story of faking it til you make it is pretty impressive and I am glad to see the two of you still traveling and sharing videos with all the rest of us. Keeps me inspired while wishing I was out there traveling too. I really should be out there sitting at one of those market places with a drink in my hand. Thanks for the laughs at the end with your Tipsy Beans bit and the Beans Out moment from the shower! You two are the best! My family and I visited Cesky Krumlov in 2017 so your video was like taking a trip down memory lane being able to see the beautiful city again. We took one of those raft tours on the river... luckily we missed all the mosquitoes! One of my favorite memories and photos from our trip is from when my daughter and I were sitting on the bank of the river eating an ice cream while watching all the activity around us. Maybe I will get the chance to go back for a second time some day too.

I have two moments which for me, stand above all the other wonderful times you've given us. First, of course, was Alex's prescient axe comment in Slovenia. I still laugh every time I think of it. The other moment was seeing Emma get carried away at meteor crater in AZ. The music was perfect. Thank you both for so many wonderful memories.

I have to say it might have been your reaction to the mountain medicine doctors in the Philippines. When you had to run away to film because you couldn't hold it on in I laughed. You guys always make us smile and we missed you when you had to take a break. It's so nice to see you both so happy. We started teaching online so we could travel a few years back and saved money to leave this year. Plans of course fell through, but you inspired us to get to this point and when things are safe we will be on the road to check out places you have gone as well as find our own adventures. What editing software do they use on TV shows? Best shower scene in a short video goes to.....travel beans. On a serious note, I stuffer from major depressive disorder and ptsd, to name a few. Travel and editing our travel videos help me find my peace and happiness. Something about being not home and experiencing adventures. Then editing keeps me focused on our good moments hoping to inspire others, keeps me balanced.-Shawna🍁

Just wondering, how do digital nomads propagate? LOL. No need to answer that, but what do you see yourselves doing in 5 or 10 more years? We have found as you age, your needs for creature comfort(s) increases. Stuff like thicker mattresses, softer towels, finer wine - and hotter longer showers in privacy. LOL.
