Sold a few hats and have never seen anyone put a hat in the washing machine. Very interesting. I have the plastic hat molds for the dishwasher. Shout, only water, air dry. Works well and hats hold shape.
I just bought a huge lot in an auction. Ended up being 3 truck loads. Took all day going through it and found new with tags 2009 NASCAR caps and T shirts. They are only dusty. Just looking around to see the worth or all 11 of them. They are all different. So cool.

Finally a channel I can did. I too am a hat seller. I have been selling hats for most of my life. what I use is perfect round balloons for shaping. You can get a 100 pack for a buck and the hats have never come out better. We are about to change our youtube handle and when we do, I think we should do something...

I found your channel as I searched for selling hats on ebay. One of my goals for 2024 is to get my hats listed. I mostly sell plush, books, and hard goods, but have dabbled in hats. I have several bins of hats that I have been putting off listing. I like your bulk cleaning method. I am going to do that, but on a smaller scale. Another great video. I love that you talked about how to clean several hats at once in the washing machine rather than just a few in a tub of Oxyclean. You’re the first I’ve seen on RU-vid to do that. I’m surprised you don’t sort out the red hats and clean them together. Of be worried that one red hat might bleed it’s dye and ruin the whole load.
Yea I did for a while just found the bowls were the best solution fast and reusable. Not perfect shape on all hats but gets the job done. Thanks for watching!

First time viewer, big time hat lover and owner of many hats that need cleaning, so I really appreciate this video. Been contemplating getting one of those hat cages to use in the washing machine but I see that one is not necessary. I have a bunch of New Era brand hats with a flat bill. So I was always reluctant to put them in the wash. Definitely going to investigate if they have all the supplies needed here in Canada. Thanks for the info. I've liked and subscribed.

Hey Guys glad RU-vid suggested your vid. I was wondering if you have ever tried using the Dishwasher? That what I use and find that it works Amazing! It seems to not disturb the form as much as the Washer does. You may not be able to wash as many as washer but you can still wash quite a few at once. Plus the better the shape the more money you get. Good luck with the channel and Ebay!

Great but complicated question :). I have several what sold videos that will help, and a deep dive into some great hat brands/styles. Just starting look for the hats that sell for more than $20. Pricing just comes from knowledge on the brands and styles in demand. I am going to keep making the deep dive videos too on the good ones to look for. Thanks for watching!
Oxi does work really well, too. We do some clothing also and the grandmas is just all around all purpose the best we have found. I am thinking of doing some oxi again on the white hats I think it outperforms on white.

I have an extensive collection of DKG/TRUKFIT/LRG Skater Clothing hats as well as RETRO COOGI and THROWBACK Rap Record Label Companies on the Gulf ... great tips that I could use when I do my Monthly cleaning session... My neighbors laugh when I got them drying ALL out on my FrontPorch..... The bowl shaper is a GAME CHANGER
Forever ever :) if the foam is mostly dust better to just clean them out. Buyers will want a clean product. If the foam is still good and intact I don't clean it out.
