I can't thank you enough for your sharing this video. I found it 2 years ago and it changed my home!!! I am no longer the maid and chef and chauffeur and CFO and handyman, and, and, and.... I have revamped our version of this concept quite a few times and it works beautifully and made for a much more pleasant lifestyle for everyone!!! Watching these older videos is so fun considering all you have done, and continuing to do, since then.

I agree about having them do chores. I made a list every Saturday and had my kid pick the chore they wanted to do, because as a child I had to do the same boring chore every week. Like your chore list idea. Didn’t have computers back then. The neighbor boys helped my kids so they could get outside and play. Oh, the oven baked veggies are so good. Thanks for the tip! I put them on rice since I had some made up.

this is awesome. you guys are a bkessing to this earth & your children are beautiful!. we have 8 & most likely more to come naturally & through adoption. We definitely make or kids work & also do not put or names on the charts. Our biggest downfall is keeping joy in our work. things aren't often done before I have yelled 😕. I'm not really sure how this happened...but it did. So, it's fixing that since it's the major kink in the works. You both are an inspiration! keep up the good work.

Do you parents ever do bathroom and mopping, vacuuming or that's mainly the kids jobs? I have a 8 and 9 year old and I really don't give them chores or have them clean anything. I was always raised that the mother/women does that and that's just the role I take upon. I guess I better start getting a little more strict and go back to giving my children chores.

You are not doing your kids any favours by not getting them to participate in household chores. They'll need those skills when they eventually leave home plus they helped to create the mess, so it's only fair they help clean up. Also makes them appreciate all the things Mum & Dad do for them too :)

I'm struggling to keep a small apartment clean due to physical disability and trying really hard to clean it by myself. I bet your crew could come in and get it done in a half an hour. Team work is always good and necessary for life as an adult so chores is necessary for sure.

Found your channels a few months ago and your lifestyle us so inspiring. Was wondering what your earlier vids would be like. I'm amazed at how well manned all your kids are compare to kids these days. I sound like a mom haha but actually not. I came from an Asian background so when I moved here during middle school. I was so shock how kids behave and treat their teachers. Little worry of how my future kids would be like growing up here where everyday going to school they cab get open up to so many topics. It would be great if you could do a vid on how you guys can share how you raised your kids well behave besides that they are homeschool. Thank you.

Keyword is WE. You all make a team effort. There is no WE here. It is all left on ME. I am a SAHM. Hubby works. No help. I have no me time. No rest. My husband says it's because he works. I am disabled due to my mental health and I struggle with mental health issues. This makes me doing it all, harder. We have a 4yr old, 2yr old and 1yr old. I am also helping my husband raise his 14yr old teen sibling. Our three have chores. They do them. 14yr old never had them. Refuses. Refuses to go to school because that's how their Mom was. No one throws anything away and my home looks like a hoarders home but if trash. Pizza boxes or food boxes all over the floors. Food? Hubby leaves in the pot for days or weeks if it weren't for me scraping it off. If I have a bad mental day and need a break, the house is destroyed. You really can tell I'm the only one doing anything. I'm not okay with my babies running around in trash. So I never take a mental health day at all. I am always crying as I'm cleaning. I clean all day. All night. Then Hubby gets mad because I'm always cleaning and have no time for him. Or that I am always too exhausted. I need help and advice please. I can't do this. I am close to packing my stuff and leaving. Seriously. I am that done. 6 people and 5 pets on 1 person is wrong.

How are they going to know how to clean when they leave home if you never teach them? Love it! :) We do something similar with our kids. Do you have a download of your chore chart? I love getting new ideas to use with our kids.

I also have 9 children, some days feel like never ending chores just to try keep on top of things ( single Mumma here) but the kids pitch in and help most of the time. My biggest struggle is trying to find quality time alone with the kids, the younger ones get time while the older ones are at school, but the older ones get home and thats when crazy time starts. How do you find time to spend on each child?

I was raised to help my parents clean the house and that's how I raise my kids. I'm not gonna be a lazy parent and sit down and relax. I think parents should help to clean the house too. That's my opinion.
