Your videos are very informative! I have a query, Is it the R/F of beam on the shorter span which will be laid first and then comes the R/F of beam on the longer span above it? Is there any thumb rule about layering of Reinforcement which one will be laid first and which one over it?

Beam and column junction specially at end, Ld ( Development length in tension) apply nahi Kya gya...Which is most important for seismic point of view...btw thanks for this video...

Look at the both sides of column steel, beam steel is not straight but going down. Will it not create trouble after casting of beam?

All top bars ending in column must have bends equal to development length to be effective. Some top curtail bars have not been provided with bends which makes them ineffective and useless

Thanks for the video learn about the bar arrangement of abeam . the movement of the camera should be slow to follow aand understand thebar arrangement. I am going to construct a tie beam of about 16 ft length and 15 inch height and 10 inch thickness . If I use 16 mmTiscon bar , how the bar should be arranged ? Show me in cross sectional view.

Because labour cost get increse and if you complain about that to your contractor then you ll loose job and you came at one point that you have to stay at home only. It's really hard to stand against uneducated powerfull person, they ll kick you

That's not the case. If zone 2 we can provide but it is always good to provide hooks at 135°. Contractor has nothing to do with the code compliance.
