I always love the fact that you gave him an east coast accent, I’ve always imagine him having that when speaking english (probably bc of his italian ancestry lol)

Really insightful to see how much work goes on behind the scenes for each of these - adds a deeper level of appreciation for your art!

Thank you for this! What an incredible amount of work you put into these clips, it's amazing! Now that I've finally gotten onto instagram and seen the paintings of Eugène, Hortense and Letizia close-up, I really hope we'll get to see those three "live", too. (Though I keep imagining that the therapist in Nap's couple counceling session *was* Eugène :p.). As for the emperor ... okay: Vive, vive!, if it makes him happy. :)

Yes it was an issue a couple months ago i think, we had to roll back to an earlier version. We exclusively use 2.93 LTS and right now its fixed there!

I love your concise tutorial style with humour, character, and decent sound! Especially so, considering that there are so few tutorials that have been produced well on RU-vid. It's frustrating that there are few good tutorials/guides/workshops, for the visual/kinesthesic learners amongst us, covering 2D animation in Blender, arguably a powerful and complete replacement for Adobe Flash/Animate for movie making. Please keep these coming! If you ever decide to create long-form tutorials (i.e. step-by-step) I'm definitely interested!

I really like the tutorial. I think your series is fantastic. Question: What does it mean to have multiple drawings on one hand object? I see that that let you change the position of the hands, but I don't understand it. ALso, are these "multiple drawings" able to be switched through with the armature?
@TinyMediaTV
@TinyMediaTV 2 года назад
Great Questions! So multiple drawings in one grease pencil object you can see that in action in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CAEyqKu4f-4.html to do the actual switching we use time offset modifiers which are currently separate from the armature, but can easily be pinned in the side of your Blender window as we showed in the video.

@@TinyMediaTV Thank you. Follow up question. Which of the three rigging methods do you use, or, which rig is best for which result? (This might be a tutorial on its own!)
@TinyMediaTV
@TinyMediaTV 2 года назад
It is very dependent on your art style we use a mix of all three styles. Good idea eventually but not soon there will be more videos about this!

I did not understand, that when you are in 3d and the character is front 180(like 0:48) ,you turn him around 315 and other angles, with this method. :/
@TinyMediaTV

We don't turn the characters in 3D space. The characters turn using different drawings/poses. Hope that answers your question
