Amanda, thank you so much! We just use the basic iMovie that comes with our MacBook Pro. There is a voiceover feature. We use the Blue Yeti microphone :)

Is Nallely doing her own voice-over? Or are you borrowing a friend's voice?

That is a great question! We are actually surprised at how many people have asked about this...we didn't even realize that it was something people would ask about. No, Nallely does not do her own voice over. I (Chris) do my own, but a close friend of ours does Nallely's voice. This question will probably be addressed in one of our up coming videos :)

So, I’ve just started following you guys and I think you’re awesome. My question is why doesn’t Chris talk while he signs instead of the voice over? And is Nallely (hope I spelled your name right) working on her own voice?

Keon Wilson Hi, Keon! Thanks for watching; glad you enjoyed the video :) Good questions! Voicing and signing at the same time is called SimCom (Simultaneous communication). Some don’t like it when people SimCom so I opted to just sign and then do voiceovers for myself. Also, I do SimCom sometimes but usually my signing is less accurate and the way I talk changes too. Not easy trying to express yourself in two languages at the same time 😅 I have played around with the idea of SimCom-ing in future videos just to switch things up a bit...and save some work on the editing side too! Nallely (you spelled it right 🙌) only uses her voice around very few people (Her parents, her brother, and me). She can speak but she has what I call a deaf accent. Look up a video of a deaf person speaking to get an idea (like Marlee Matlin). A friend of ours did all the voice over for Nallely. Hope this clears things up! Maybe Nallely and I will make a video in the future about this topic 😁
