Incredible! I think it's great, he will be able to communicate in ASL, English, Spanish, and when he goes to school can take a foreign language elective and be able to communicate in 4 languages!!!😍

I think that deaf people are smarter because they have to function in a hearing world they have to develop so many ways to get through abs learn a language that uses their hands I think they are profoundly amazing

They aren't smarter, they're simply people who have learned to adapt to a hearing world very well. Individuals may be smarter or average or whatever, just like everyone else, but I don't think it's fair to categorize any group of people as above or below others. They're just people with a different language.

Hi, your son is so cutie! I'm wondering about his speech therapy. Can he watch tv so he can hear their voices like seasme street, blue clue something like that. What your family are hearing or deaf? If hearing and try on FaceTime solute can learn to communicate hearing family? I thought to help you. Let me know what do you think? You both did great job. Congratulations your baby is on the way! 😊 yes most important to teach him ASL first then start learning to talk. Bless you all family 😊🤟🏻💜

My biggest fear would be not hearing my baby in the middle of the night. Or not hearing him once hes walking. Other then that I would be OK.

You are in some massive denial.I have two deaf parents and had major issues in kindergarten with my speech it was deaf speech which usually id not full sentences.It sounds like he is already behind in his speech which already is an issue.Yes you live in deaf culture but your hearing son doesn't part of him does but you are ignoring the part that doesnt.He needs to be around more hearing children and adults.
