This definitely inspires me to open my own cafe/ bakery…….I’ll comment again if I ever do. Thank you for posting this beautiful video about your bakery.
You should definitely do more videos about running the bakery. You can do Day in the life/behind the scenes of what were goes on and it’s really interesting and I would love to see some thing that
Getting ovens through doors is one of those behind the scenes challenges that nobody talks about. We are in the process of opening our third location and it’s always a problem.
I’m craving your lemon pop tarts right now! So proud that everything you touch is a success! Such a hard working vanilla smelling French Pastry Chef! Nothing worthwhile comes easy! & you definitely put in the blood sweat & tears! I see a chain of these coming soon!
New viewer. This layout of your bakery is very very nice. So cozy and beautiful. I too was in baking before the pandemic, left it, now back at it in my home (for now). I really enjoy your content.
Yes please! I would love to see how you DIY’d the hutch into a fireplace. It looks fabulous! Also would love tutorials on food art. Love your quirky aesthetic!! I see some coffee table books in your future!
A lovely story told very elegantly. The shop looks fabulous and i agree the flooring is a no...bamboo type flooring id say for a beach house .but hey....you will be a great success.
I’m so PROUD of you my friend!!! You are such an amazing lady and to top it off just frickin talented! Keep up the amazing work. Live & miss you 😘 xoxox
I’m in NC now but this had me missing my hometown!!!! It has been 8 years since I’ve been home. I was watching shorts until I saw one of yours. I saw out the window as you said something about moving to the Central Valley so I thought maybe I’ve been to that area. Born and raised in Visalia. I even went to Redwood High School which is down the street from your bakery. I need to get home. I’m sure it has changed drastically the last time I was there.
@@brookedarwin oh no! Rivals! Lol. Well it’s always nice to see my hometown growing and developing. Congratulations on your business. It’s beautifully done.
20:45 I can totally relate! I just celebrated my 8th anniversary at work. younger people are joining the company and it definitely feels weird! Congrats on your bakery by the way! I'd love to see a full tour of your bakery and a day in the life as well :)
BEAUTIFUL..1 thing I would love to see is the upholstery updated ..make it look more curated and uniform and less outdated thrift.. a blue lux velvet would elevate
I really enjoyed this video & learning how it all came together, you've created such a charming place & I look forward to seeing it in person someday , ( maybe closer to fall ) I'm sure you've got something really fun & unique planned for halloween decor ..Congratulations on your success!
Your video really inspire me to focus on my plan! Please keep posting other informative information about bakery. Talk about the equipments for a baker. Where to purchase items etcs. Thank you an advance.
your bakery turned out beautiful! cobgratulations! if you dont mind, i have a question in regards to the baking part. how well does the convection oven bake pies and breads? im planning on starting a bakery too but have been thinking of starting out with just a convection oven as its much affordable than deck ovens. 😊
thanks for this , I want to open a bakery in south florida. you gave me hope today. great video...please tell me how much you spent for the kitchen..the entire tools
Hi! New viewer here, loved the video! I am a dreamer and would love to open up my own cafe one day. Im curious what licensing and everything you had to go through to open up and own a bakery?
As far as I remember, I had to set up a business tax account, and an account with the health department. You’ll also need people to have their serve-safe certifications, schedule an inspection with the health department. Our attorney set up the business as a small corporation, so I’m not sure what was needed for that but you can also go llc or DBA if it will just be you. I’d ask an accountant what they think would be best for the business you plan on opening.
Every time I see someone say they had nothing to do over covid I get so jealous. I've always had a passion I've tried to make into a side hustle but covid was 50 hr work weeks here.... Never got the opportunity to truly focus on my own passions.
The title is How WE opened a bakery, not how TO open one. It’s a personal account, everyone’s experience is going to be different and the renovation/preparing the space was the biggest part of ours.
