@@kyreegary3620 Let the machines do the work, for example the doors, may need to steam (if available) the holders (cup holder, side holder, etc), spray apc or your general interior cleaner, spray the doors except not in electrical components (for example speakers), drill brush it, use a detail brush for the holders and hard to reach places and wipe. You might notice a stain, so go through your process to get rid of it; steam, apc, drill brush, wipe and keep going until it's gone or until you realise it wont go, dont eat into the material, know your limits. Some interiors will be worse and take longer than others and it depends on what you want your result to be, which will indicate how long it'll take.

@Calendyr
@Calendyr 2 года назад
My process is really similar to yours. After removing client's items from the vehicle, I go immediatelly to door jambs. I use strong apc (Super clean at 4:1) and spray down the entire door jamb, agitate with a brush then pressure wash off using a 25 degree (green) nozzle. I start with that because sometimes water will bounce on something and end up in the vehicle, so I want to do it first so I don't have to work ever what I have already done. I end the detail with a waxing of the door jambs using a microfiber towel and a pain sealant. That gives the final clean and protects at the same time. Also I don't use a tornador because I am mobile and don't carry a compressor in the van.

I started a “weekend detailing” side gig in March snd man i do everything yall do….same steps to…i just hate try to do the back first and then work on the front…whenever i get in the car i always seem to leave hairs or dumb shit so always revacuuming just like yall do! i wish I had your equipment though! i just use a hoover clean slate shampooer/extractor, super clean and a drill brush. i have a rubber brush to get the hairs. It typically takes me 3-3.5 hours on a decently dirty truck…so prolly about 3 at most on something like this. wish I had your tools though for sure! id prolly be right around 2.5 hours as well….but i guarantee your prolly charging more than me. all this for a truck like that is about $20 an hour. so i typically would make $60ish. anu tips on rubber floor mats? i have no power washer (no hook up outside) so i always end up soaking them in a tub and then cleaning them with some Adams stuff thats for rubber…sometimes its like they look clean then once they drive the dirt comes back

if you are 1 person, and an interior detail takes you 1-3 hours, you are doing something wrong or you are half assing it. A full interior detail, cleaning all the crannies and under the seats and not skipping steps, it should take you up to a day. Anyone who says they are 1 person and can do a full detail in 2-3 hours, is lying through their teeth. You cannot rush a good quality job.
@outrunrider3661
@outrunrider3661 14 дней назад
A lot of times people do what I call an 'express detail'. Basically that 2-3 hour max detail but not as picky. It's possible to pump out a decent detail in that time but I definitely wouldn't charge top dollar for it. If you're trying to hustle it's good for you and the customer that wants their car back.
@DetailingTurzovka
@DetailingTurzovka 13 дней назад
When i do a full interior detail without the headliner and without removing seats, it takes me a whole day. From early morning to the evening. 6-8hrs I'd say of clean working time when I'm hitting every crack and crevice in the car (if it's that dirty). Removing seats and cleaning headliner is lile 1-2hrs plus. A detailed vacuum is like 0.30-1hr most of the time. If it's super dirty, it takes 1.5-2 hrs just to vacuum it properly 😅 Vacuum, textile cleaning and extraction takes a few hours (3-4hrs) When focused on the textile parts. I usually dry the car with it's own ventilation.
