Gotta love that they're basically playing the whole mod without tames, though if anyone could it'd be the guy that progressed through DOX on the hardest setting without realizing it 🤣
Killing stuff on foot is extremely viable on omega. Won't cut it for the bosses without some major legwork and grinding, but it has certain advantages.
Treasure Chest Light Beam : You get this when you kill a 'treasure' dino (for a short period of time) on every treasure chest. It makes it easier to find multiple. btw, your gold lucky sword is used to specifically kill those special dino's like 'Essence', 'Paragon', 'Treasure', 'Loot', etc.. and gets stronger every time you kill one Oh, and if you start taming other groups beside the mythical one, the resource ones give passively produce loads of their respective resource. ie./ the element dino's passively produce loads of element, etc.. either way, enjoying these Omega vids with your bro. thx, bruv
16:50 I know it doesn't show it in the name for some reason, but you can figure out what it is by looking at its description. It needs Elite Summoner Kibble. And it says Necromancer right above that. So it was an Elite Necromancer Giga. Yeah... no wonder it was strong. Also, I believe you need either a unique warp bow, or an ascendant metal bow to deal any torpor to certain creatures. Giga, Carchar, Rock Golem, Karkinos. Also, "Damage Taken Reduced by 1000". Welcome to essentially invulnerability. You no longer fear most DoTs and creatures that would've dealt 1100 damage to you only deal 100. Which are not many in terms of wild ones. I don't think you can even drown, burn in lava or die of starvation or dehydration, because that damage gets negated as well. Your biggest fear is Self-Destructive, as it deals a massive amount of damage instantly. And possibly Collective, if you fail to react in time. 25:50 Oh yeah, that's probably a Ghost variant. It's a funny one, as it only exists during night. It can't be seen or interact with anything during the day, but it still makes its sounds.
You do want a high-tier Fairy creature, ideally something with a lot of HP, like a bronto, diplo or even daeodon will do. And just leave it sitting at your base to heal creatures. You have potions for that as well, and those are EXTREMELY useful on cave runs and boss fights, but fairy does that for free. In addition, you want a high-tier Taming creature, possibly a shoulder pet. Taming multiplies food consumption of knocked out creatures in the area, meaning it takes way less time to tame something. They also deal a lot of torpor damage, but a metal bow is far better for that purpose. If you're going to be working on mutations, you need a Breeding creature, but generally it is a better idea to ignore mutation breeding and just grab a unique creature. Those eat paragons to breed, so mutations are not an option for them. Don't bother with Tracker or Harvesting, there are better ways to do all that. Shield is generally not very useful, but I believe it doesn't push out knocked out creatures. Meaning, you can knock out a target and then deploy a Shield, making that target safe from anything trying to decrease breeding effectiveness. Absorbent is generally not needed, since by the fights where you can get those, you'll have like 50 full-heal potions on a dino that has millions of health, it's more of an endurance fight. It does have a use however - protecting a player when you're killing stuff for a player rank increase, as you have to do that on foot. Demon might seem like a way to cheese most creatures, but things you control can still activate their abilities, making it nearly useless against most creatures. The biggest irony however, nothing in this mod saves you from getting Purloviad. You can have 100% and 50000 damage reduction, weapons that kill gods in one hit, and yet a non-omega purlovia in Strong cave will still stun you.

id recommed to get every group up to the top kibble, taming dinos are handy (for taming :P) potion dino's aswel (especially shoulder potion dino's) so are the resource dino's since they passive generate rescources, if it is like ASE you need certain group dino's to kill certain bosses pls look into compleet armor sets with there weapon bonusses it helps alot unique dino's can become OP/strong every group has multipliers, in ASE some unique dino' had 600X multipliers
i think the ARK gods felt bad for me after my troubles on update day cause i kid you not - find a mutated baby 152 gigantoraptor and the nest was right next to a cliff so it's literally a free tame, now i have a lvl 227 beast that i can't even do anything yet cause my level too low - luck out on sarco taming and get one absolute monster with 55 MELEE and 50 WEIGHT - get a free 145 basilo cause everything nearby got eaten by murder fish that died fighting the mantas, but it did take nearly 30 minutes after the first feed to be able to feed again which was painful today was a good day, now I'm happily back to where i was before my game had a seizure
Such a great episode raas. :) i think there is something wrong with your tooltip it doesnt show them correctly since some of them has names and i think you need to look into that. :) otherwise great episode. and aswell tame everything for every single tier if u want to be able to tame the uniques since they can come in all the tiers aswell :) keep up the great work! and good work to little bro aswell!
