Thanks to you boys me and my clan are playing omega, things i have learnt so far... wear the full set of Armor that goes with your weapon, only put points in damage on yourself and you can upgrade and reroll the stats on your Armor and saddles. ( try and get magic find on your Armor for better loot drops)
That phioma is the thing you where talking about at the beginning apparently 😂. The not typical powerhouse of a creature. Too bad it was not tameable haha
tbh Mythic is probably one of the worse groups to have chosen, but I'm guessing it's because they were green. Try Nature, Cosmic or elemental, and build the kibble tier up on those, to have actual tames that will destroy stuff. (it's been a while, but pretty sure they are dope) Either way, loving this series :)
Brutal/lethal and Cosmic/singularity are strong classes to fight with, but most noob Omega players start with a Mantis named Edward, that's should be your next goal mate. Then you'll want a Guardian Racer for a tank. Nice vid, tnx for sharing. Hope this helps.
@@husklo It is a rare unique dino, it spawns on the map in different tiers, but even a beta or alpha Edward can kill lower tier Bosses with a little support dino help, that's why it's a noobs goto in Omega. All special dinos have a name and Edward is a great name for an OP mantis ! Hope this helps.
Probably wondering why Edward is so special? Edward is a Metal/Paragon unique, so he is tanky, and when equipped with Omega weapons can be very lethal, for example, Phantom axe at night. hope this helps.
such a great episode and yea way to many moments to name as @divabae1293 said in a earlier comment. Ur never safe in omega. Death lurking in every corner. :) keep up the great serie. and little bro keep up the work aswell!
From my experience in ASE, the good uniques you should consider: Sabertooth - anything Paragon has a huge damage reduction, so it's always a good call. And sabers are common, so grinding paragons for them is easy. Lystro - again, really common, and they can petrify bosses before landing a powerful blow on them. Trilobite - common creature, can go invisible and then land a really powerful backstab. Direwolf - common and is really powerful at night. Ant soldier - has a really high stat multiplier and again, really common. The only problem is they are extremely bright, which gets annoying fast. Kairuku - depends on if ASA has unique saddles, but if it does, it makes those nearly invincible, giving them 5% hp per second regen. Fenrir - it is probably not in ASA yet, but those generally spawn in the wild as commonly as direwolves and is generally just a better sabertooth. Polar bear - tanky and has high damage, they are also pretty common in certain caves. Mantis - it's also Paragon, which means a huge damage reduction, plus it can use all the cool Omega weapons. Megalodon - being Dimensional, it can leave the water. And in addition to bleed, it has really good stats and is a common creature. Megatherium - I mean... it's Megatherium, what else do you want? Onyc - Common creature with fairly good skills. Argen - aside from being the good old best birb, it has fairly good stats and is common, again. Mammoth - common and tough, those don't even need to be elites. It's a good choice for an Absorbent creature. Of course, with a lot of time and a lot of grinding, you can go crazy and make your own chief. I had a unique Alpha Managotter. A hybrid of unique Alpha Otter and Managarmr.
Guys, beware the underground. I wouldn't suggest using it as boss arena. There are some death spots! Some people randomly died just walking down there. I suggest to wait until the place is fixed! On ASE there was a similar bug, but around the flying island.
Ah, this was fantastic....Another good job indeed! And dammit. Why are you going after stuff like that? Endless is 5 tiers above you! With the strength being multiplied every tier. NOT a spoiler; it's intended you use a structure called the Reliquary. Tames that die are cryoballed there and lose a tier on release. This was put in so people could more or less safely experiment, without losing everything. Re-tiering things up is done by making tokens in the soul grinder (or if past elite, by consuming boss or higher tier souls). So those poor rex's would be downgraded to alpha. And given the cost of restoring them you're better off just breeding some more.
Anything that isn't Unique you can send to the Dimensional Grinder and it will give back good resources. Like Ascendent Net gun will give you Utility souls. Ethereal Spear will give you Ethereal souls.
Cosmic abilities are some of the strongest as you've seen them, Starfire (burning sun), Singularity (black hole), Meteor (raining fireballs) etc. But the ability uses a lot of stamina, so have stam pots of the various types especially on flyers like Solar, in the case of Solar when fighting paragon monsters or other mini bosses, you really want a 7th varient utility dino preferrably a shoulder pet so compy or dymorph and that type is a Potion dino you can put health and stam potions in its inventory and it will use them and heal/boost stam on dinos and yourself. These are very valuable and hard to find dinos so dont get them killed. Very much needed for more difficult situations Also you can find and craft taming potions which help a lot, wake up potions if you ruin a tame and want to wake them up, also handy for one of the bosses that deals a lot of torpor
There is some fun stuff later on so hope you keep it going it does become a bit of a grind though, even when you know the best ways to get things quicker, like grinding Wabajacks for lucky souls which you need lots of. There are some funny hybrid uniques you can make by breeding them together i'll just share one example ill leave the rest for you to discover, but one is a Scout and a Bloodstalker and various others a couple particular ones are very handy for late game. Oh and like i say have a look at the list of unique saddles, they are fun to get and use. There are different metas for different things, I remember Solar saddle was very important because amongst everything else it gave a pack boost, one meta we found on our servers was to use (i think it was) a detonate (or similar variant) Gally because the gally saddle reduced the cooldown on that ability making it super op for bosses. Im sure as all big updates do metas change but that is just a case of some imagination anjd a little studying of whats in the game. I will leave it there dont want to overwhelm lol
Uh just so you know raas you dont have to gather resources usually to get them for example if yoy want wood kill a wood dino or tame a wood dino tamed ones produce it overtime in their inventory same with pearl dino kill it and harvest it or tame it and farm you can even have an element dino too that gives you element
Raas be careful around the area near where you placed that omega beacon, there's an area that instantly deletes characters and structures no matter who or what.
This video is missing from the series playlist. I had a feeling that I was missing something, and I started digging through your video, and found out this video that fills the gap between the previous and the next episode.
I'm asking you again, if you can, to add the episode number in the description. It's very confusing to watch the episodes in the correct order, if they don't have a number anywhere.
@@Raasclark You're right. I didn't see the the "Ep8" in the description. For some reason, I looked only at the end of the first line. Video is indeed in the playlist. I might have pressed 'Next' twice and skipped this episode by mistake.
I would like to see you do a Elden ring run. It’s a challenge but now people have figured out load outs that destroy bosses. With the dlc coming out it would be a good time. Might get a whole other audience to subscribe
I don’t know why I just thought of this now but I think the next season of Monarky should be with the Omega mod. Again, I don’t know why I just thought of this now. Just thought you would have wanted to know.
My loot Dino’s drop terrible stuff. I feel like my server setting must not be optimal for omega. Something’s definitely not right. They have like basic metal hatchets and spears and stuff. Some low grade saddles
I've been playing online for the first time ever. I guess there's a 50 limit tame rule, so I just lost a hundred hours worth of time due to a server wipe. I can see why the majority of people hate this game now. Don't see myself ever enjoying it again
