You are so brave Tay, thanks for sharing this! It really struck a cord with me when you mentioned the lack of support, or even more so, resistance from your family, as I have dealt with similar. My parents are both primary school teachers and they both teach at the same school and my husband is also currently studying to become a teacher...so the irony that I am going to be homeschooling our children is funny although challenging. I have been praying about it for years and have had confirmation from the Lord a lot, and praise Him for if he has called you to it, He will sustain you through it. After years now of prepping them for this, we start official school lessons next year with our oldest, they are very sceptical soon and can be still judgemental however they have come around to it a lot more now. Praise God! I do believe that God will continue to work on their hearts, as well as my own in this journey. This is where i am! My family doesnt agree and thinks im keeping him home for me and finally im starting during his 1st grade year. He hated kindergarten too and it broke my heart. Im in NJ but id love to be friends! We have so much in common
