I worked grave yard for years, then I would come home and mother my daughters tell my husband got home. I slept for 5 1/2 hours split for four years. In 2005 my doctor found a lump in my throat. The Thyroid Specialist did a biopsy, during those two week, I did some experimenting on my own. When my appointment came to find out what was wrong, before she said anything, I let here know my findings. She poo pooed my finding, saying that stimulant's and vitamins did nothing to effect the thyroid. So then she told me that she was going to put me on Thyroid Medication, but ultimately was going to remove my thyroid. I then immediately stood off the examining table, walked over and shook her hand and said, "Thank you, but I will fix it myself!!" I got off of the grave year shift two years later, lowered my sugars even more then had been for years and felt amazing. Then in 2011 I went Gluten Free, 2012 Plant based and in 2019 started drinking Distilled water. If you give your body the tools it needs it will heal itself. I am 52 1/2 and I have no health issues... GOD BLESS!!

Same thing with me! I was diagnosed with overactive thyroid and they wanted to nuke my thyroid with radioactive iodine! I said no way and I found a natural practitioner! That was about 14 years ago! Everyone needs to get off those scripts! Especially now! All of the meds come from China! And dont take me wrong, I have studied and I appreciate Chinese medicine! We could all learn a lot! But it's their government and bureaucracy I wouldn't trust....and just like with our own fda and governments! Dont trust any of it and wean away from all medications! Food and plants are medicine! For about a year after the diagnosis, my NP saw me in his office to do laser therapy, put me on iodoral and changed my diet! That was back when I was turning 40. I'll soon be 54 now. No meds whatsoever!

30 years ago I did have surgery to remove a hen egg sized goiter from my left parathyroid. My endocrinologist put me on Synthroid which I took for years and felt lousy. Then my Mama became terminally ill, I let my Rx run out, and found I felt better than I had in years! My family physician refused to refill my prescription after normal bloodwork but my endo insisted I must take meds so I went back on the Synthroid. Fast forward a few years and my endo dr. retired. A new, young doctor took his place and basically told me that Synthroid would not prevent another goiter nor help me. He basically said my old doctor, however nice he was, was using archaic practices that had not been substantiated by medical research. After several months of bloodwork, conclusion is my thyroid functions very well without any meds. Stomach issues prevailed so I went gluten free a year ago this month and I'm such a happy camper!

No, it’s got nothing to do with money. Legally, Drs cannot prescribe or recommend anything that isn’t sound, scientific methods or treatments. Thyroid medication is the most benign med you can be on. I’ve had family members permanently hurt or damaged by “natural” treatments.

Too much iodine can damage your thyroid. I've done iodine treatment (external) for my lymphnodes and one of the dangers is thyroid damage. There's a lot of info on it out there. I use dessicated pig thyroid hormone and it worked great. I think first you need to find out exactly why your thyroid doesn't function efficiently, because there are many reasons

After being on statins for cholesterol for years, my thyroid got out of wack. My doctor suggested my thyroid may be causing my boosted 'bad cholesterol' ( so much for statins, right ?!). So I sat down - had a good long 'think'.....Maybe my body needs the cholesterol, and it's been fighting against itself for years as the statins reduce it, and my thyroid is trying to make more, to compensate ? Anyhow - the fight is over. I went off my thyroid meds months back, and my cholesterol about 2 months ago after seeing several doctor's videos saying some people need more cholesterol, and many have NO need to be on statins, to begin with. I haven't felt better in years. NO meds of any kind ( those were the only two I was on ) Just a good, home cooked diet - so I know what I'm eating ! - exercise, and Vitamin C, D3, Zinc and Magnesium daily supplements to keep my immune system in good shape. Oh, and NOT vaxxed, either....it all helps.

@@RainCountryHomestead One of the doctor's videos I saw about 'cholesterol levels' stated that prior to about the mid 1980s, a reading of 300 was in the 'high normal range' and nothing to worry about. Then, ( the famous) 'they' decided to lower that number to 200 as being the 'new high normal range'. Well, all that meant was that suddenly millions of people had 'high cholesterol' and statins were starting to be 'recommended' and handed out like candy, to their patients, by the doctors out here. NO WONDER so many people are on statins that probably, and really, don't need to be ! But they really try to sell you on the fear of "if you go off of them.......", don't they ? Now ? I have far more fear of the many potential and serious side effects. All the stuff they DON'T tell you when they put you on them, in the first place. One of many, many articles /videos out here that tell the other side of the story : " Dangers of Statin Drugs: What You Haven’t Been Told About Popular Cholesterol-Lowering Medicines " www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/modern-diseases/dangers-of-statin-drugs-what-you-havent-been-told-about-popular-cholesterol-lowering-medicines/#gsc.tab=0

Your body, every function and cell, needs appropriate thyroid hormone levels to function properly. You should be getting regular blood tests which will inform the thyroid replacement therapy, and under supervision of an endocrinologist. There is no other option. The lab tests are TSH, T3, T4. You should know this if what you're saying is true. And please don't aid and abet scammers who may cause so much harm to people. Again, blood tests will reveal thyroid hormone levels in your body. Thank God for science, human intelligence, doctors, and that for decades we can treat hypothyroidism easily.

Thanks, great info. I’ve been hypothyroid for 20 years. Found out all halogens on the periodic table are on the same vertical line with iodine. Big news, they displace / bind up your iodine. The body doesn’t need much iodine to convert T4 to the active form-T3. The displacers are Fluoride, Chlorine and Bromine. Chemical fluoride in water, dental products, chloride in tap water and swimming pools and Bromine in commercial baked goods! No wonder we have an epidemic of thyroid disorders!!!!

@Lori Smith I've been taking colloidal minerals and vitamins for almost 40 years. It's why so many people think I'm in my 40's and why I'm married to a 40 year old woman. It's why today my wife got so angry when the pretty young 20 year old girl at the store was swooning over me. And I'm damn near 60. If we don't do the best we can to take care of our health we will suffer greatly and we will look our age. Some hereditary things are what we are constantly fighting. Like thyroid, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease... but even if I don't have those things we fight to stay healthy. Don't give up the fight.
@The_New_Abnormal_World_Order
There was a study where patients were taken off thyroxine and it turned out 60% were fine and didn't really need it. So it seems possible that millions of people are taking thyroxine unnecessarily. The body gets accustomed to it though and the thyroid shuts down to some extent so it makes sense you would have to wean off thyroxine gradually and give the thyroid what it needs to heal itself.

@THE NEW ABNORMAL WORLD ORDER Wow. It's almost as if God Himself prompted the timing on your comment. Today's Wednesday, and Monday my wife went to an extensive, comprehensive free clinic to get her thyroid checked. They said there's no problem. Which left my wife stunned for hours. Now she doesn't know how to spin it. I've always known it's more mental illness and narcissistic rage that keeps her messed up, not thyroid. The Levothyroxine has helped somehow to keep her somewhat in control, but that's not the answer. I'm not giving up on her. Now, we need to go a different route.
@The_New_Abnormal_World_Order
@@MexicoAdventurer That's great news, that her thyroid is OK. I find mainstream medicine so disappointing and lacking. I just watched a video, about how vitamin B1 deficiency is really common and it can even cause symptoms of mental illness. Benfothiamine is a more well absorbed form. (maybe it would help her.) Sometimes when people have deficiencies diet isn't enough, they need high dose supplements. Hopefully she can find healing with health and nutrition. 🙏

I have been on NP Thyroid or NatureThyroid for about 10 years. The last couple of years I noticed I began to have problems with sudden diarrhea after every meal and a lot of muscle and joint stiffness and pain. I went through many things trying to figure out what was causing it. Finally, it came to the thyroid meds. Doctor told me to take a probiotic to fix my gut and keep taking thyroid. The probiotic helped the gut issue, but the muscle and joint problems were getting worse. Then I dug around on internet. The NP Thyroid has been recalled 2 or 3 times. Many reports of women having various problems. It smells like cat pee. So I also cut back on the thyroid, 1/2 pill for a week or two, then 1/2 pill every day or two, etc. I take selinium, B complex, other vitamins and I used liquid iodine, just a drop or two rubbed on my skin of my arm or upper chest. My body soakes it up in about 2 hours. I feel much better without the thyroid meds. Muscle and Joint problems nearly gone, and Diarrhea is gone. I also use Burts Bee toothpast without flouride and deoderant without aluminum. And we have a very good water filter in our home to keep out as much gunk as we can. I think my thyroid issue was a stress related issue (it came on me when I was in law school) not just that it quit working from old age, as my doctor says! Feeling much better without the thyroid meds!

So surprised as she is in naturalist and a medical doctor as well but she wants me to stay on the meds.

She gave me a list of supplements identical to your list and gave me the same recommendations for foods to eat and not to eat. I followed the diet closely, giving up gluten, sugar, soy, dairy, and alcohol. Six months later the results of my blood tests were worse than they had ever been in my life. The problem with the diet is it is not intended for vegetarians, which I am. As I can't handle Synthroid, she placed me on the pig gland version as a last resort--a sad choice for a vegetarian--while encouraging me to continue the natural remedies. I just fell upon your channel and am glad I did as I'm trying to go as natural as I can at this point in my 68 years of living. I just want to share that after being put on synthetic thyroid med at 22 yrs old, just months after giving birth to my first and only child..I was told it was because I had an under active thyroid gland with a benign nodule on one side. I was biopsy tested several times at that time as well. A different endocrinologist tested me again 15 years ago with a biopsy and all the usual blood test and told me that my thyroid gland was functioning but full of fluid (which he drained in the hospital at the time of the biopsy) and he said that I didn't need to take thyroid medication anymore. He told me to immediately stop taking it which shocked me. This was a highly rated doctor in the field who was an older dr and practicing at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. Well, I was afraid to stop abruptly after being on it all those years and told him so as I had a pretty demanding job at that time and I was also a single parent of a special needs child. He was quite irritated with me for refusing. lol. I eventually did stop the thyroid med a few months later when my job ended as well as my stressful schedule. I did it cold turkey as he instructed and to my surprise I didn't have any symptoms at all. So it is okay to stop these med's cold turkey in some cases. Also, I too have Thalassemia in the minor form but do not know how it affects my health as I'm not one to run to the dr's unless it's absolutely necessary.(I don't trust dr's for several reasons) Currently, I'm trying to learn as much as I possibly can about natural wellness and whole food nutrition..and cellular nutrition. Best wishes ..and health to all and thanks for sharing the valuable information on thyroid issues and care.

Wonderful information and all in one place!!! I had to find all of this out the hard way - trial and error. I was on thyroid medication for many over 20 years and took myself off of it 3 years ago. My recent blood panel showed that my numbers were, as my doctor said, PERFECT! In fact, she said that all of my numbers, weight, and blood pressure are perfect. I avoid fluoride and use no teflon. I eat mostly organic, free-range and grass-fed vegetables, meats, and dairy. I laughed at your comment about butter because I LOVE butter and feel that margarine is VERY UNHEALTHY! I use a lot of coconut oil, too. I eat a lot of seeds and consume avocado and organic olive oil daily. I buy raw sugar and raw local honey for sweeteners. My husband is a retired chef and we make everything from scratch - no processed convenience foods! I’m lucky in that I was raised this way, but anyone can do this. I never gave up alcohol but I only have one or two light beers on the weekend so that may be why it has no ill effects. I also eat ice cream, but again, in moderation. And, yes, if you crave something that you aren’t craving through addiction - something healthy that you wouldn’t normally crave, it’s your body telling you that you need it! Thank you so much for sharing this information!

Thank God I saw this BEFORE I became dependent on thyroid meds! I went thru some withdrawal, but "weaned" myself off before I became totally dependent on Levothroyxine. I am active in my tree farm, and a girlfriend thought she was "helping" me by ratting me out to my Dr. You work hard each day - you get tired, eh? I may be 66 years old, but my thyroid is borderline through age, not hypothyroidism. I did notice many side effects, especially "restless leg syndrome" which just about drove me crazy because I was not getting much sleep, I had a temper starting which I never had before. My Dr. thought I was an ill mannered patient after that stuff got into my body, but I have returned to my normal self now. Some doctors think they are God, so I will always look up the drug before I get them filled at the pharmacy. Then I will decide for myself whether I take the drug - or not. Thanks!

Hi "Mr. & Mrs. Rain" ;-) Thank you so much for this. Heidi - I am also anxious to watch your "Pharma Free Series"!! My husband and I have not had thyroid problems - - - however, we want to keep our thyroids healthy!! And this is all wonderful advice. I worked coconut oil into our diets years ago - and I am so grateful we did. Overall, I just feel better when I have a bit of coconut oil in my daily diet. Speaking of doctors - - - we are lucky to have a doctor that...although he is a mainstream doc...he is open to my way of thinking. And since he sees good results in my way of doing things he goes along with it!! LOL!! Thank you for the wonderful list of foods good for the thyroid. I saw some things that we don't have in our regular diet, so I will be working those in to our meals. Thank You both!! Love from our family to yours, Mary

@@katepalmer4540 hi Kate. I am responding to your request to get off of Lego. Fibromyalgia is classified as an arthritis. To totally get off all meds. You need to change your diet. Eliminate all breads. These increase your insulin levels. And also eliminate all sugar. These foods cause the kidneys to produce more uric acid. The urid acid crystal looks like a little claw. And as it travels through your body it catches on muscles and nerves and etc…….. start eating totally paleo foods. More fruits and vegetables. You can eat red meat and chicken. Pork contains parasites. There is an herbal tea that will clean your blood and kidneys and liver. This is important to do daily. The tea is three individual teas. Burdock root tea will cleanse the blood. And dandelion leaf tea will cleanse the kidneys. And milk thistle tea will cleanse the liver. If you can do all of these things and stay on them then your body will heal. It will take about 2 weeks and you will tell that it is working. Drink filtered watered but not bottled water the bottles contain added hormones that also are adding to your health

I'm 78 and taking thyroid supplements for about 40 years, fortunately I tested off the synthetics and got on Armour pretty quickly. I still often went thru periods of feeling like the dose was too low. I took between 75 and 180 mg over the years based on labs. I went thru the Pompa program while on 90 mg and about a year later, after adding 2 drops of 5% Lugol's iodine, just felt weird some mornings and missed taking it. I decided to split pills and have kept on at 45mg all winter, surprisingly doing better than average. BTW Also been very low carb, moving to keto and now carnivore, and taking no supplements. Just my experience so far.

Great to see folks like you that don't trust big pharma either. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and never had health insurance although when we had our three kids we were on metacaid. But we don't take pharmaceutical drugs, going to the doctor isn't an option for us. We just rely on God and Psalm 91 to keep us safe and using natural remedies. For instance my husband has gotten gout pretty bad for years and we discovered black cherry juice is great to alleviate symptoms of gout so he drinks that whenever he has flare ups or whatever. We try to eat as healthy as we can, we garden and raise chickens for eggs and we are well stocked with essential oils and natural remedies. God bless you all ❤️

Wanted to add my two cents/experience to this thread for others. I have been on natural thyroid for 20 years now and before I switched I too noticed the joint pain, even with high doses of synthetic T4. I think the issues with join pain when taking the synthetic meds is that you aren't getting what your body needs. Most of us on thyroid support aren't converting to T3 and that is where the problem lays. Switching to natural gave me all the bits and pieces of thyroid that just can't be done with synthetic (T4, T3, T2, etc). So I think the pain while on meds, at least for some, stems from your body not getting what it actually needs, and in a form that's more natural and usable you get all those pieces, especially when they are all meant to work together.

My comment really different. When I was 19 years old, suddenly my thyroid grew so large, it was totally removed. Our first son was 9 months old. The doctor put me on Armour Thyroid. I am now 79 and have take a 60 mg tablet daily first thing in 🌄. Blood taken 4-6 weeks and always been ok. We were transferred with my husband job often. Every new dr. Suggested a synthetic drug. I usually tried it. Even had one dr run a test because he thought I had some thyroid left. Result. None found. I had 4 sons. Still feel great at 79. Weight excellent and I walk, exercise still working in clay and writing a book. 46 years as a minister in jails, prisons, half way houses, now WalMart. One thing 3rd son is having his thyroid checked now. Also his 2nd child was born with no thyroid. She was put on a synthetic at birth. At 20 years of age, she seems ok. But really I have to give all Blessings to My Lord, Jesus Christ. He renews me every day. 🙏

Always question everything you are told, a degree is not guarantee of the truth, more over considering there are huge economic powers and incentives manipulating society, remember profit doesn't care about moral. Do your own research. Truth and healing is within you. I'd like to add things that worked for me: sunbathing (especially with your bare feet or body on soil), earthing, exercising with high intense workout, meditating and doing some body control or relaxing sport like yoga or tai chi. Also being with a positive attitude, sleeping well (disconnecting al electric devices), listening to music in 432hz (theres apps that do it like 432 converter and tubemate), turning off the tv specially media. I have a friend who is Thalassemic and didn't know it until she was in her 50's. Thalassemia looks like anemia in a regular blood test, so doctors always said she was low in iron. As an adult, her doctor said she needed to take extra iron but after taking one or two tablets she felt bad and never took any more. Thank God, she did that. If she had continued to take when she wasn't anemic, she would've started rusting - literally rusting - on the inside and would have needed a complete transfusion to remove and replace that toxic blood 0.0 Scary.
@RainCountryHomestead
@RainCountryHomestead 2 года назад
Yep, it is very toxic to us Thalassemics and many doctors do not know enough about it. They should not be prescribing iron tablets to anyone until they know the actual cause of the anemia. Thalassemia is a type of anemia but caused from too much iron rather than not enough but anemia can also be caused from a lack of other nutrients. I covered much of that in this video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BHiZTbaIxnQ.html
