I agree! I didn't double bag my oil and it never came out of the brand new clothes I bought for my trip. Haha! Never again!

+NaturallyKenya It might be too late for your clothes, but I spilled pesto on a dress of mine, and it left a giant oil stain. I put some dish soap on the wet dress, let it sit, then threw it in the washer. Repeated this 1 or 2 more times and the stain was gone! The dish soap works great on oil.

I made the mistake of not paying attention to my AS I AM moisture milk size and I packed the whole bottle and TSA had to take it cause it was 13oz. I wanted to ram my head into a wall. I'm usually on it. All My clothes and toiletries are all in a carry on, I'm good to go. If I am going to be there for a while and I'm not staying in a hotel I pack and mail my hair care products (usually when I'm going to my parents), but if I'm traveling for like a week I do exactly what you do. Saves time, space and aggravation

Use plastic wrap to seal all the bottle/jar openings the containers. Sometimes the pressure change during take off and landing can cause your bottles to expand and contract, and if the openings aren't sealed tight enough, product can ooze out into your clothes. Not fun.

I bring nothing... I always like to find new products when I'm on the road or overseas... granted I do tend to do my hair fresh before i board the plane but it gives me time to find new fun products while traveling

When I go travel, I usually have a protective style in, and I only take a little bit of a natural oil because I'm so afraid of TSA throwing away my products. One day I walked through security, and because I have a nosering, the metal detector went off, so they pulled me to the side and checked my hair. That's why I now travel with protective styles.

l too pack jojoba and use it head to toe & l decant my fave shampoo into a spray bottle this way l use less per wash & it also doubles as a smoothig cream on dry hair. l use lip balm (in a tube) instead of hair pomade on baby hairs & ends

+redapplejuuice You'd be amazed that the common sense of just transferring your products to a smaller container doesn't really hit people. Especially if your not a traveler.
