How, When and Why To Use Use a Blow Dryer/Hair Dryer and Which to Buy? I Mens Hair Styling Tips 

I did discover that even though the Parlux has a higher wattage than dyson, dyson's airflow is supposedly 41 litres a second whereas parlux is only 23.3 litres so it may not technically win on power, it actually makes it less energy efficient for less airflow.. with that said though, I put my hand over a dyson display when it was on the highest setting and I can't say I notice a big difference to my parlux. Thank you for being one of the only people to compare these two driers in any form, i would LOVE it if you ever get a change to compare the styling result and time between the two as I don't think -anyone- has done that yet... actually recorded themselves drying hair with both and comparing results. I must say I adore my parlux though, had it for 7.5 years so far and still works amazingly.. not sure i'll ever change to dyson when it has been so reliable.

$300 for a dyson? Does it vacuum your floor too?

Put the wax in whilst damp? Before drying? Interesting, I've not heard this before! I always dry then out wax in...hmm

Very good review. But you forgot the two most important things, especially for a professional. You forgot the drop test and longevity. I know the Parlux can handle being dropped but I doubt the Dyson will withstand repeated drops. And you know they will be dropped fro both professionals and consumers. Also, longevity is very important for both consumers and professionals. Both hair dryers are expensive, but especially the Dyson. Also, Dyson doesn’t have any repair centers. When their hair dryers die they’re trash. Dyson won’t even repair them out of warranty. Therefore, I give the advantage to the Parlux...hands down!

The Dyson sounds quieter because the air coming out has a higher pitch.

I've used a hair dryer all my life so it's second nature to me.

Have you reviewed the Parlux Alyon ??

On the Parlux why does the dryer turn on if you use the top switch as this are the heat switch, can any one help me?
