Hey everyone! Wastelands' fauna changes so rapidly that it drew Genesis's attention. They sent an ecologist called Isabelle to collect information. Having enlisted the help of Gerard, an experienced hunter, she got down to business. However, hunting is a tedious process that requires precision and some serious survival skills. So an extra pair of reliable hands is certainly going to be of use.
Gerard will show you a journal where you'll need to record all your observations. Start your exploration with familiar species. It will help you when you hunt unusual species down the road.
The "I'm gonna grab the biggest gun and shoot everything that moves" strategy won't work here. When you hunt with regular weapons, nothing valuable for research remains of the object. That's why Gerard has developed a hunting modification. To install it, you'll have to acquire an abrasive and a Bench Grinder that you can find in the Hunting Grounds. The modification will allow you to keep all the necessary research samples intact. All you have to do is collect them and bring them to Isabelle.
Upgrading your reputation, successfully tracking animals, and completing other tasks from the journal will grant you Hunter's Tokens. You can spend them in the Trophy Market where you'll get to choose a reward to your liking.
The "Hunter's Instinct" event will commence on May 23. To access it, you'll need to have level 30 or higher and complete the "Saving the Survivors" quest in the "Powershot" chapter.
We don't know where you'll be on Last Day on Earth's birthday: having a fistfight with an alligator, waiting to ambush a rare fox, running from a boar, or shooting the good old zombies. So we've prepared anniversary bonuses for you. Just log into the game daily and receive your presents.
The Event Calendar is now available as a separate button placed right next to everything else - inventory, seasons window, and the store.
If you've survived the zombie apocalypse, you can handle fish, no problem, so you no longer need the "Fisherman" skill. However, the "Fishing Spot" skill will unlock special locations for those who enjoy quality fishing time.
