What the news doesn't make clear is that the reason for this is simply the fact that it's a newer product, only recently launched, being compared to a product already on the market for over a year. @@damnkris It's called the MI300X, and it launched at the end of 2023. If you look at industry voices outside of the two companies' marketing material, you'll find that they generally agree that it's the superior product to the H100 (though not necessarily by much). You'll also find them generally agreeing that it came a bit too late to truly matter as a challenger, which is why you might not have heard of it. Nvidia is planning to launch the H200 this summer, and there's no doubt that it'll solidly beat the MI300X again.

AMD's GPU chips are not considered better than NVIDIA's, especially when it comes to AI applications. AMD's CPU chips are considered better than Intel's however, who is the competitor in the CPU space. Likely that you all got Intel and NVIDIA mixed up on that comparison.

It's not about GPUs, it's about large dedicated AI accelerator modules. While these developed out of the GPU technology, the hardware used in them is no longer comparable to what you see on consumer products. I can easily see him upsetting the conservatives with a bit of luck. He isn’t like, the best campaigner I’ve ever heard of anything like that. It’s just that Sunak and Starmer are poor speakers, the only decent Starmer speech I’ve heard is the party conference speech (the latest one). Farage is just better by comparison. And it showed.

yes they do. the x3D chips are still the best CPUs on the market for both desktop and laptops (it's why DYI sales are usually lead by AMD 8/9 to 1). it also has by far the best server CPUs.

In 2019, Reform (then called the Brexit party) withdrew 317 candidates to help the Tories win, _one of which was Clacton_. That makes the 25k majority irrelevant as who knows what number the Conservatives would have gotten if they hadn't got a free run.
