I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado my dome nor my reverse lights worked I replaced “TBC 2A” (Fuse) on the interior fuse box located on the driver side it’s a TRUCK BODY CONTROLLER also, make sure to check “TBC 2B” it’s a truck body controller as well. This fixed my dome and reverse lights problem.
hello, can I fill the oil of the gearbox directly from the hole of the reverse switch, to do before and then restarted everything once drained under all the oil? thanks
Good Explanation! I'm seeing you because my BMW X3, reverse lights doesn't work.. And I checked the fuse, and it blows. So I put a new fuse.. And it works.. But in the same day fuse blows again. It could be something wrong with wiring or with switch.. Maybe I will begin to change a switch for a new one.. What you think?

My wire harness on the reverse switch from the gearbox is torn. Im trying to locate or trace back to its connection but to no avail. Atos 2004. Any ideas? Thanks
Thought I was the only one referring to W as DOUBLE V and not DOUBLE U.... Love this!!! Ref the location of the switch, does it matter whether it is MANUAL or AUTOMATIC. Is the switch located on the left or right side of the transmission.
Its the backup light switch or reverse light. There is an arm insde the trans which presses against the switch which activates the switch. After the switch is activated your reverse lights come on.
