They set the bar for Vegas didn’t they know everybody’s got basically what we called around the world buffet too bad Covid had to screw things up or I should say Biden and Fauci
Don’t like the Bachna I didn’t care for it. I love the win it’s pretty good for the money. Love your content here buddy you’re doing a good job. I’ve been coming to Vegas since 1974 when I went into the Navy they pretty much ruined Las Vegas they don’t call much of anything anymore back then you could get cigars when you was gambling a glass of whiskey, a glass of milk whatever you wanted they would get it for you. They really catered because they need people to come there now it’s like, there’s too many people going there so they don’t really care
This makes sense. My roommates had edamame in the fridge, I took one and tried to eat the whole thing. Spat it out into the garbage and said no wonder they haven't eaten it yet.
The italian rice balls are called arancini, pronounced like arron cheenie, spoken as one word. Being Italian, and having lived there for 9 months, those are small arancini. When I was in Italy (circa 1984), you could buy one for about $1.00 in a bar. They were a little bigger than the size of a baseball. Filled with cheese, sausage, peas, and a tomato based sauce. Now the term "bar" is very different in Italy. A bar in Itally is most often a small shop that does sell alcohol, but also sells tha arancini, and a variety of pastries and coffee. Sorry, no dart boards, pool tables, dancing, or live bands.
Jacob - you are truly a guy who gets high value out of a buffet - you showed us quite an extravaganza of food! Perhaps not the video to watch while my stomach is acting a bit wonky - but thanks for the show!!💕
Same here! I'm fascinated; I don't know why I'm doing this to myself. All I've eaten for the last few weeks has been a protein shake and some cheese and vitamins everyday. Maybe it'll kickstart my appetite?
As a Marylander myself, I was wondering if it was soft. The claw did not look like it though. If not, I’ve never seen the, fried like that. Would be very hard to clean.
Well the further away from maryland the less "soft" the shell might be. probably depends greatly on the supplier. I've had them but never in Tennessee.
I really enjoyed watching YOU enjoy the food! It made it look really appetizing and made me more hungry than I was! :) 😊. That slider especially looked REALLY good! 😋
Yep I’m Diamond Plus and use it every time I go to Vegas to eat at the Bacchanal. Otherwise I don’t eat enough to be worth the price. I don’t have a problem eating for free 🤭. Thanks for the share Jacob😁
I went here last year with my family and we all really enjoyed it, the kids too. I was skeptical of the high price initially, but I'd say its TOTALLY worth it! My eating strategy was simple, multiple plates from several stations (the way you did it) but, I literally only took 1-2 bites of each item! Man that was some good eats 😊
I am sooo proud of you Sir!!! A few months back I wrote you and told you you should stick to Vegas reviews, as your gambling habits were not that great lol, since then, I have seen some fantastic videos that you made. You’re doing a great job!!! I’m not sure how you put all that food away though. You have a fast metabolism, you’re the type of person that can just eat every 15 minutes of the day my brother used to be like that. Built like you, but he didn’t take care of himself as good as you do. So, he decides to have a heart attack at 60.. Keep up the great work !
What I am most impress about is how much you can eat! Seriously, how do you stay in shape brother? You either workout like crazy or let it all out the next morning. You ate So much that you literally Stared into the unknown at 24:00...haha OMG.
Lesson to eat crab legs…break the legs at every joint, the gently break each section in half and the whole piece of meat will pull out easily if it is well cooked! The claw is delicious! Just pull the two parts of the pinchers apart and dispose of the smallest section that has the cartilage. The larger part of the claw can be broken with the back of you knife if they don’t give you a cracker. If there is a chunk of the body attached you just have to break it up a bit and pull the chunks of meat out of each section.
When you gave us the update recently that they decided to limit patrons to only 1 hr in the buffet, you didn't say they changed it bc of you lol :) Great vid as always
I'm a diamond plus player. Yes you can cut the line. But it's not all the time. On holidays, they may not let you in without a reservation. It depends on the staff member.
I get the feeling you are not an adventurous eater. The first crab you had is to be eaten, shell and all. Do you dislike vegetables? I never expect the food at a buffet to be great. I usually find it mediocre at best.
Jacob! I'm finally, desperately, trying to loose the 30lbs I've gained over the past year and I check your channel out and you do this to me! 😂 God I miss 'old' Vegas, where everyone had a buffet for about $10. Is it cheaper during the week? And as someone who doesn't eat seafood, shellfish or red meat, would there be enough choice to justify the cost? I saw a couple of my favourites - meatballs, gyros, asparagus, eggs and cheese, but could I get things like risotto, Indian-style curries, kebabs, falafel, humus, pickles, sausage, roasted veggies, pasta etc?
*Arancini:* Italian stuffed risotto balls. Fried. *Greek Gyro:* Seasoned Lamb and beef compressed, then shaved into slices, feta cheese, veggies, and tzatziki sauce wrapped in a pita. You said it correctly the second time "Yeerd-oh". Crab is definitely tricky, bro. It takes practice, and each type needs a lesson on how to get that awesome meat from its shell, but it's well worth the effort. RU-vid is our friend!, lots of how-to's there! You did great on the Snow crab the first time out! 24:08 food coma! LOL This was a cool one, Jacob! I *_used_* to be able to eat like that ... 😭
This is great. I love watching this stuff. I am going to be in Las Vegas for three months and going to see just how much money It takes to live there. I do not eat drink or gamble so it should no be hard. Or will it? lol
Last time I ate there it was terrible. The line was a mess even with reservations. No one knew what they were doing. The service was poor. Had to chase down a waiter after being there long enough to finish our first plate without drinks, while many of them all walked by us. Had to chase them down again to get a refill, and never saw them again after that. A lot of the food was flavorless. A chicken dish they had was undercooked. The gelato had freezer burn on it like it had been sitting in that thing without being replaced for a month. I got it and tasted it. It was definitely freezer burn and not just ice. I got sick later that night too. I used to like the Bacchanal, but that was the last straw after another previous subpar visit. Now, the Wynn is my go to. I have the Caesar's Rewards credit card and it does not give you crap all but a one year upgrade to Platinum unless you earn a shitload of points to earn the level. At least MGM upgrades you pearl permanently with their reward credit card. Frankly Caesar's just all around sucks these days. Less selection, but much better food for the price point. I actually think it's a shame that Paris never reopened their buffet. It was a nice unique little buffet with some good French dishes, not just an eat your way through the major world cuisines buffet.
Hi Jacob, have a question for you. Will that credit card hack work for existing Caesars rewards card holders? Or just for new Caesars card holders? Love the videos and keep up the good work.
Love the Wyndham/Cesars match!! but do you know if the annual starts and ends in Feb only? or is it a full year from when I sign up (in this case July to July)??
My sister & I ate there in 2019. Glad our meals were comped, because it was bad. Everything was bland, and a lot of it you could tell had been sitting out a while. The desserts had a nice presentation, but again no flavor, just sugary. Maybe it’s improved a bit, but wouldn’t go again. We miss the buffet at the MResort. I’ve heard the buffet at the Wynn is awesome. I’ll make it there some day.
Business earner is for business owners... thats not a lot of us... is there any other way to get diamond match at Caesars? Im plat right now. heading to vegas in july
My gf and I went there in January and the buffet was the nicest buffet I've ever been to. I don't like buffets, but it was really good. I wasn't going to comment until saw you got the slider, and I remembered the slider. How they screwed that up, I am not sure. The bun was way too hard, it must have been sitting out for awhile. The meat was good. I had some of same as you got. The shrimp with cocktail sauce was really good. We weren't going to go to the buffet, but our flight had been canceled, while we were sitting on a bench in front of Caesars, and we figured go book a room at Caesars and then went to their buffet.
@@mikester24622Good to know, it wasn't planned. Our flight had been canceled because Portland was covered in ice, and we happened to be sitting in front of Caesars. We splurged for nice room at Caesars, after a bad experience previously at Luxor in the trip, and didn't want to really screw around going all over that day.
are you saying if you apply for the credit card , Ceasars will give you the diamond status card for free? If so what is the process to get this done after you have applied for the credit card?
I've eaten there before. Very good. I went back for dinner and we stood in line for three hours waiting to be seated after paying. We got a refund. I was livid! We eventually got to the head of the line, then their high level player's club guests kept showing up with 15 people. I was at the head of the line for an hour. Don't think I'll ever take the risk again.
