Nice haul sifting is essential! Friends in Florida periodically go out to specific 1715 Plata Fleet wreck beaches during storms..to sift the 'heavies' rows. Lots of emerald & aqua treasure stones being found!

Will do, might be a few month though. Got to wait for the poison Ivey to die off in the fall, learned my lesson this week.

So glad to see younger people embrace who was here before modern America was established and what it took to survive. Cool to see what screening uncovers what the detector won’t. How do you tell where the flint locks originated?

Was planning on doing a video of explaining electrolysis this winter, not the first person to ask me to do it sooner. Might have to. I post my finds cleaned up on my Facebook page. Check it out.

How common is trade silver in Minnesota Wisconsin? Do I have a good chance at finding some again I keep second guessing myself because I’ve left so much good material behind
@JenningsPutnamArt1991

I’m finding musketballs, flintlock pieces, square nails, indianheads, copper buttons silver buttons, bone and possibly some good trade silver, also stone arrowheads, trade shells and beads and pottery and ceramics

MN is some of the best trade hunting in the world. For whatever reason there’s tons of trade sites where you are. Stay close to the river Chanel and you’ll find sites, can’t really give you a awnser about how common trade silver is, all depends on the site, if it’s native French or British how early or late it is all depends. If you get on a good Native American village site you’ll find the most jewelry, that doesn’t necessarily mean silver alot of it is made from kettle scrap. All depends. Keep me posted, send me your finds would love to see them.

Yeah it’s a native village site and trade site I’ve found a lot of silver jewelry around here but I thought it was junk. But now I’m getting way more educated I’ll never leave anything like that behind again, hard to refind if you know what I mean

Not a rivet, is a nail. Was wrong about it being a river in the video.

Hey buddy. That's not a bone knife! I don't know what you found. It's not for bones. I cut up deer, in Wisc. That tool has some other purpose. Not cutting bones, I say. Rjk.

I don't think that's a saw blade it's a trammel to hang a pot over a fire
@Greysen_Reimer
@Greysen_Reimer 2 месяца назад
I’m split, have been told it’s a trammel from a few other sources as well. Could also see it being a saw for ice or bone. It’s a mystery only time will tell.
