You can get a new motor with a pedal on eBay or similar for US$40-70 if killing a sewing machine seems a bit cruel. A broken sewing machine would make for a great donor and asking a local repair shop may get you a suitable motor cheap if you ask nicely.
Thanks for showing us your spinner 😀. It's completely different to others I've seen but hey, why not, it's what you wanted -- makes me realize we can make one for my friend! Using a sewing machine motor is an excellent idea, why didn't I think of that?! Thanks very much, and happy spinning! Katherine from Kent (UK)
Thank you so much for this video! I just started ripping apart an old thrift store machine that was damaged but the motor still worked ... then I found your video and it answered some of the 'well how do I set this up' questions and I'm sure saved me hours of trial and error! Thanks so much!!
Thank you. Your presentation is so clear and easy to follow. Like you, I cannot afford to buy one, even in the UK where they may be less expensive they still cost in excess of £100. Again, thank you :)
Thanks to your video I now have an espinner!!! Thank u for sharing!! I had bought the superflyer for my wheel and that left my woolee winder flyer unused. So the sewing machine motor and the kiwi woolee winder in a pelican case and bam new wheel Thank u thank u
Fabulous plans and THANK YOU. You did a great job explaining why it was designed the way you did it. It was very important you figured out how to make it go in reverse by mounting the motor vertically instead of the way they are used on a sewing machine. Also the air intake to keep the motor cool.
You can get SEWING MACHINE MOTOR WITH PEDAL on Ebay and other place's . www.ebay.com/itm/9-Amps-HOME-SEWING-MACHINE-MOTOR-PEDAL-SINGER-HA1-15-66-99K/162571173063?epid=1531459764&hash=item25d9ff3cc7:g:ZHIAAOSwjKFZVWfa
thank you so much for making this video this video inspires me to make my own Also do you know if I can use any kind of sewing machine motor for this project?
Videomu izleyip öneride bulunduğunuz için teşekkür ederim.. Ekmeği yapan kadın sadece video çekimi için ekmek yaptı.. Şu an yapmıyor... Teşekkür ederim.. İyi geceler..
It depends on the particular motor and the size you want. DIY isn't for you if you can't figure out dimensions based on your requirements - she explained the technical information - you need to get pen and paper and plan it.
Do you expect her, someone with little money, to demonstrate ripping the guts out of multiple machines and measuring them all and creating several sizes (with available flyers) just for you?
