We're swimming in oil here in Texas! If we stopped exporting it and refined products out of the country within a few weeks we could refill the SDR at a bargain. Problem is we don't control all of our refineries. Pemex owns the one in Deer Park and the Saudis bought the one in Port Arthur in 2017. If they decide to limit refining, they can drive the price up and I doubt the oil producers here mind getting higher prices for what they extract.

I'm sorry, my dear friend, but it sounds like you completely do not understand how these things work... But the main point is that oil demand is global, you can't just direct a part of the flow and say ok, now we will refill our reserves with "our own oil" just like that and no-one will notice... Also keep in mind that the US already has big trade dficits EVERY YEAR, rather than a surplus...

In a sense he is good for sharing f knowledge aimed at beginners, just be careful out there people oil is an immensely complex industry, don't tell people at work tomorrow oil is going to $200 BB because of a 15 minutes video. It's would take a lifetime of specific oil and gas experience to make a credible oil prediction.

People rag on Bitcoin but with all its flaws does however prove the working concept of distributed ledger blockchain technology. Consider that for the first time in history we have the technology to migrate to a totally paperless non-fiat ecurrency that these globalist bankers can't control or counterfeit. Imagine how many problems it would solve. What if we took this blockchain foundation and added a point of sale interface, a credit scoring system, web and mobile interfaces all based on a general ledger database foundation. This would eliminate not only state control over our medium of exchange but also inflation, deflation and the need for charging interest on a loan and the big one, wealth inequality.

It's not the oil price increasing that would cause a worldwide economic crash. Russia, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and oil big oil producing countries will be fine. The US debt and decreasing dollar will eventually crash the western markets but the World is not just the West

@@matthewellis3004 As farmers we generally buy fuel tanks that are about , for mobile use (as in the field refueling) 120- 500+ depending . As to on farm storage when I was active I had 1000 g(diesel and 500g gas) in tanks + I would ask the fuel guy nicely to fill the equipment by the tank . That was generally enough for my 200 acres. I know farmers order that fuel by the tanker ( 10000?)

Are you talking about things like Gold, Silver and Copper? Just buy ETF through your Stock Broker. ETF price directly mirrors the actual price of the commodity. Just put 2 graph side to side and compare.

Ya but, Many new sources of supply, most importantly, in the U.S has changed the dynamic of the price trend. If more supply is available, the novelty of the product goes down. Technology is also impacting the efficiency of production and that must be accounted for. It's not the old day's, when OPEC was the biggest producer. The only thing keeping Oil high, is the falling value of the Petro dollar. With rival nations trading outside the system, price discovery is more likely, same as all commodities. Your trend chart may or may not hold true, but war will definitely be a major driver if it escalates.

Why do you think we, all of a sudden, need to refill them in the "near future" and what do you mean by "near future?"

You can't just turn wells off and on. Alot of times the higher producing wells don't come back to what they were once they are shut in. Oil wells are actually quite finicky

If the middle east actually escalates oil will pop. If there's a deep ression it will tank. Oil seems to run in 4 year cycles so I'd say it will probably tank in the next year. As far as PROP goes. Looking at a chart I'd say they are managed very poorly. Looking at 5 year chart they dropped alot and have been flat for quite awhile. Compare them to xom, nog, chrd, mro or any other oil company. They all have been on a steady climb since 2020

Gas in Ohio for me is $2.75 a gallon. My wife goes online and routinely saves $80 a week at Kroger's. And we eat shrimp, chicken, steak, pork loin, etc. Oh that's right! Bad Biden.
