I have no history with Dragon Quest… Fun fact: The voice of Erdrick is the same voice of Hero of Time Link. So he was already a hero before he became a Hero.
Bruhhhhh ocarina of time was my jam Back when it first came out in the late nineties. I remember having to go back to the same blockbuster over and over. And rerenting it, so I actually had time to complete the game LO. L
@HesBunz Blockbuster… I have no recollection of walking into one, but even if I did, I was too young to remember. It must’ve been painful even for you to witness the mass shutdowns. We were left with store sections with physical media. DVDs, Blu Rays, 4K video, etc. Very few stores in my area are dedicated to those, but none of them are deemed blockbuster.
@HesBunz I grew up with Ocarina of Time. My all-time favorite game, period. While it wasn’t my first jam, that was Wolfenstein 3D (I never paid any attention to the gory effects of that game). If I had a top 10 list, this would be it: 10. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves 9. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots 8. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault 7. TimeSplitters: Future Perfect 6. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception 5. Super Mario 64 4. Donkey Kong 64 3. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask *1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*
@HesBunz To be more specific, I have V3 of the Ocarina of Time cartridge (with the altered Fire Temple theme). That was at an era before updates were even a thing for games.
(Head)Canonically, Zelda’s elemental magic is TWICE more powerful. Square Enix just has a bad habit giving every character in their franchises a massive cheat sheet… They and Bethesda Softworks. Seriously, how do I know how to shoot fire without prior teachings doing so?
