Several years ago… you were not “pathetic” or “a burden”. You were the person you needed to be to become who you are today. I’m happy you have come to the point you have. I enjoy your channel and hope to meet you some day, Travis. Keep it going!
That's so relatable I don't know where I'd be without comics and youtube. Sam was one of a kind. That's awesome and inspirational it takes a lot of strength to pull yourself out of a hole like that. Much respect Bueller.
0:02 hi Bueller!. Love the Chanel because of you. I started watching pre Covid and tune in to every video/show during and since. Always inspired by ur drive, courage and generosity But tonight watching “RU-vid/comics save my life”video..I became very VERY aware in a frightening way that 2night thus moment I can now say Comic with Buehler save my life literally you just saved my life. Your words have been so profound to me because of how close your story is to mine that in this moment, I just saw myself. Because of your transparency your words penetrated and I finally looked at my own life. Damn, thank you so much I can say without doubt or question Comics With Bueller saved my life and I just started living again. Cheers.
Brother man you are a constant professional Sir thank you for all your hard work to bring these amazing videos to the comic book community my friend you are awesome be cool stay safe ok peace and chicken grease 😎🤘🤟🤘🤟🤘🤟👊❤️✌️
Thanks for sharing. I often think to myself, there's no more mystery. My life is pretty set in stone. I know I can change it but you start adding a wife, children, mortgage etc. and the cost of change goes up. But I liked your comment that your life isn't over. You're at the start. I like to think that's true.
I remembered when you were selling your collection. I was driving from Chicago to Laramie, WY to drop my youngest son off at college. We stopped in Omaha, NE and stayed at a hotel. I purchased a bunch of you Hulk collection while hanging out in a hotel room with my son. My son and I talked for almost an hour about how much i enjoyed reading Incredible Hulk comics as a kid. We never really talked about comics before that. Now he's a comic reader too.
Thank you Travis for this inspirational story. You were one of my inspirations to start my own channel, and I look forward to watching you continue your journey brother.
More power to you, for where your journey has taken you Travis. After watching the video, I can never see Rex ever being mean to you again. I know you get around in a van and not a horse, but "Happy Trails to You"!
Inspirational and awesome. All it takes is that first step… really happy with the way your path has taken you. I started watching your videos nearly 2 years ago which sparked my collection of comics again. Your actions gave me the passion to get back into collecting. Thank you 😊
What a great video. I've enjoyed getting to know u and you've made a huge positive impact in my life. I wanna thank you for that. I appreciate your honesty in this video. I appreciate the message your sending. Thank you brother!
Awesome story brother, I got back into collecting during the pandemic and it changed my life for the better. You were the first RU-vidr I found (Coffee and Comics) and you actually read a couple of my comments. You and Bob will always be part of my comic story. #commentonallbuellervideos
An old man once told me that the key to happiness, is to love someone, have someone love you, have your health and have something to look forward to.... I'm glad you are happy. God Bless.
Congrats on your ongoing journey my friend. You’ve been an inspiration to me personally and getting to meet you at MegaCon in 2023 was very special. I’ve always enjoyed your videos and your enthusiasm. Thank you for all the help you’ve given me and for setting a phenomenal example for our community.
It takes a strong 💪 man to get themselves out of there situation. You should be proud of yourself Bueller.. Live a good quality of life is what is most important. Thank you for being here we all love you
Thanks for sharing! You're a great example for everyone that is going through hard times. I love your shows and have been watching for 3 or 4 years now. Keep it going!!! And I'll be right here watching. FYI........... if you ever roll in to Tucson, AZ you can park the bus in front of my house we'd love to have you and show you the local comic shops and maybe some other cool things in Tucson
I've only followed you for 3 years or so, Bueller, but I enjoy your no-frills everyman tone, and appreciate anyone who loves comics for their content as opposed to their potential spec-value. I also appreciate how your videos convey a zest for life. I believe you've found your way to one of the secrets to a life of contentment and longevity: finding things that sustain your healthy and productive engagement, worthy pursuits that keep you moving forward. Never stop discovering the New. I enjoy the humanity that you (and Bullseye Bob) exude and celebrate. Thank you for sharing such heartfelt revelations. Let's all continue the journey, sir! (and let's keep reading comics!!)
I've been following you, for a while now and I am so happy things have worked out for the better. I look forward to seeing "new comic book day" February 21st. And thereafter. Keep safe and well.
Travis "Bueller" - comic collector, youtuber, adventurer, and motivational speaker. You truly are an inspiration. Keep it up. And if you ever pass through Jacksonville, FL stop off at my favorite LCS "Gotham City Limit" and say hi to shop owner Ben and his trusty shop dog Pacer.
The Amazing Adventures and Orgin of Bueller. Great story. No one will ever top that Monday morning coffee show, no one! Thank you so much for the memories and the inspiration this channel given me in my passion and return to comics. Be careful and watch out for Naked Dudes!
You should be proud! Your personality is what keeps people coming back; coffee, previews etc. great sense of humor and opinionated enough to barely stay out of trouble! Many people have tried but they don’t have “it”. Congrats and Drive Safely! (Beautiful setting and framing btw)
Thankful to say that Comics With Bueller changed my life for the better as well. I love you and wish you the best, my friend! Thank you for this video 👍🏼
Love the channel buddy. Refreshing to see a story from the heart and the bravery to put it out in the world! Put a little extra ooompf in my 50 year old, divorced Dad, living with my parents and heading to work day. There is hope for purpose and happiness!
What a great story! I admire your courage to do what you did! I would love to be able to travel across the country like you do. May your travels continue to bring you joy and continue to make your family proud of you!
I think I can speak for most of us who watch and say Thank-you right back. The reality is most of us are just regular folks with regular lives, who just want to relate the same kind of people, usually through common ground... such as a love for a hobby. There's a connection made there through the ether, however big or small it might be....it exists, and we all long for it. You're just a sincere, likeable guy with a heart of gold brother, that's why we all love you dude. We all relate to you and your journey, each other, and our shared love for comics everytime we watch a video, or get together on a live stream, etc. I think it took brass ones to do what you did too.And to see it unfold was and is a pleasure, and an inspiration to us all. It's always cool to see the underdog win, it gives hope to the rest of us, and that's magic. We're proud of you, and to be part of your "road crew" across the miles! 😎 Travis over here trying to make me cry on new comic book day of all days...Blast you Bueller! P.S. also you have great taste in the best Marvel Character(s). 💀
Travis, this hit me hard man. I 100% get where you're coming from. Our stories are different but there are many similarities. Thank you for sharing my friend.
Hey Travis, thank you so very much 4 this video sharing your story with all of us & all that you do & continue 2 do comics wise & such. Love ya buddy & love the vids! Sincerely Your Comic Book Brother, Garrett L. Manring Jr.
Hey brother, just got off work and started watching this. It's been a helluva a nice time watching you progress in what you love and sharing it with everyone. I'm glad to now know you and to be able to share an awesome bond and friendship with you and your family. I started collecting again because of your channel, which was one of the first ones I started watching. It was awesome then and is still awesome now. Keep enjoying your life and the traveling. Be safe out there buddy and see you soon! Love you brother!
We’ll one thing I can say brother is that your videos helped me get through some tough days in my life. Your comics and coffee sessions were a way of escape for me. You just getting in there and going through comics was in a way refreshing. So thanks man! May you grow and learn how to adapt your Chanel to the new techniques out there yet always stay the same. Here’s to 1m subscribers.
Wow I can’t believe it’s over six years of watching your videos Jim! Always enjoyed them even if I don’t leave a comment. In 2016 I made a drastic decision to quit my full time job and work only part time because I got tired of working 10 hr days and had nothing to show for it and felt defeated. In 2018 my son and daughter took me to a Comic Con in New York to get some of my childhood comics graded. I was hooked again and you were one of the first RU-vid I started watching as well as Tom 101. It’s been a rewarding six years for me also. We all have our ups and downs in life and how you navigate the bad stuff and focus on improving your life is what defines you as a person.
Buehler I truly look forward to seeing your weekly breakdown of comics and let me congratulate you on your candor, your honesty and your journey from where you were six years to where you are now you and I are the same age group and I thank you for your message which is one of the positive
Great video Bueller! Your Comics on Coffee video with Bob were inspirational in getting me into the comics hobby. They were so genuine. Thanks for all your efforts and keep enjoying those damn Mountains!
I just want to say ,that you have always been true to who you are, and when I saw your channel start to take off, I know you where putting in the work to make that happen. I've always liked seeing you at the cons I went to, and you look a hole lot better since you started your new journey. Keep up the good work bro
Thank you for sharing the story of your last six years. Hello from eastern Canada. I discovered your channel and a few others during Covid. Some had a lot of unboxing videos and I still don’t understand why it is so interesting to watch someone open their mail. I was reading a few books at the time and now read only independent books that I would have ignored in the past. My reading is much more enjoyable because RU-vidrs and community members said “This is really good, try this book”. Looking forward to your ongoing journey!
Thank you so much for sharing your life's moments because you have inspired me to begin my own dreams of doing something with my life, I've been fighting cancer now for almost 20 years now and my wife is always supportive in my adventures in my hobbies and lately I've been in a slumber mood to not do anything. I've worked for the last 40 years and had to go on disability because of the life threatening cancer I'm dealing with every day but as I was going through RU-vid videos I came across yours because I needed a sign and bang there you were talking about things I love like comics and I love my collection from the 60s 70s 80s and beyond so now im going to open up my storage and pull out those action figures and sealed up comics and look at them and enjoy what I've been missing and sell what i have and take that vacation to canada like i always wanted to so again thank you for your inspirational support. God bless Mr. Jose Seda
Mr. Jose Seda, first thing thank you for sharing. You're a strong person, going through cancer and the treatment for this long just proves that you are a strong person, dont forget that. please stay in touch, i want to hear about that vacation. My email is comicswithbueller@gmail.com
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I’ve been honored to have been watching you since the beginning and knew back then you were destined for bigger things. You have grown into a wonderful ambassador for this community and hobby. Sam was a unique and gentle soul that I miss greatly too. Stay awesome my friend and indeed tomorrow is a new beginning to the adventure life has before us. Be well and I hope this year we can finally meet and fellowship. 👊👏👍
