My grand uncle (and whole fam) were friends with tiong lay and his siblings back before he started YTL. They lived together in a chinese village in Kuala Selangor back then. Apparently, my grand uncle was encouraged by yeoh tiong lay to buy plots of land in KL (can't remember the timeline) but didn't take his advice seriously. TBH Sentul area especially YTL I would like to say the property in that area is quite cheap. 6 room in highrise under RM 1 Mill in today are deal breaker to me.
