Zed is incredibly underrated. His collabs in Hermitcraft Season 9 have consistently been high points, from taking Tango on a Weekend at Bernie’s arc to a symphony orchestra performance with Etho, to the Pulled Pork Parade. Great interview.

One of my favourite quotes from Zedaph from the shorter season was "Please stop enjoying the darkness" when he did science on Tango.

Minecraft is a sandbox game that you can play any way you want. Yet somehow, it still feels like Zedaph found a way to play it incorrectly. Just to be clear, that's supposed to be a compliment. Zed is amazing.

The way Zedaph uses the alternate definition of "play" is what makes him so entertaining. Docm77 likes to break the rules of the game, Zedaph plays with them. Love his stuff. Thanks so much for the interview, can't wait till next Friday!

Zed deserves so much more exposure. He’s one of those creators that I think could entertain and pull in people that don’t play or know anything about Minecraft at all, he’s just that funny and creative!

I love it! This may not have been touched on during the podcast because we all see Zed's "outside the box" approach as his biggest draw... ...but the man knows his redstone. I've said this before, but you've surely seen the second Combrewter in season 8. What impressed me even more was his Minecraft timekeeper back in ZSMA. It kept track of years, months with the variable amount of days, gave him cake on his birthday and a present at Christmas, and even accounted for Leap day in February every four years. Accompanied by a moon-phase clock in the upper part of the building, it was one of the coolest things I saw at the time.

Realising that Zedaph is making great content without being the best redstoner or builder makes me even more confident that slizzleman will be on Hermitcraft making the funniest videos in collaboration with the rest of the hermits! Slizzleman has a truly perfect ability to collaborate and make hilarious content so he needs to be on hermitcraft, living in impulse's base and causing havoc! Nod to tango who also is the missing link to you all. Much love to all three of you, all your content is great!

i became a fan of Zed because of the big base swap of season 7. (i found HC from Mumbo mid S6 and when season 7 started i started trying to keep up with more then just mumbo) I very much appreciate the very unique humor.

Zed is one of the best hermitcraft creators. He's so underrated. He always puts a smile on my face

One of my fave seasons watching Zedaph was his Cave of Contraptions. The creative lengths he went to to perform some of the most mundane tasks. His redstone skills were outstanding (and still are)

So excited to see Zed on the podcast! If Zed does come back to the US I'd love to see a ZITS pod episode with everyone in person, maybe talking about the experience of prior visits and the streams y'all did together back then.

Zed is by far the most underrated hermit, he deserves all the love in the world

my favorite zedvancement so far has been the Creeper Orchestra. Everytime I watch it I get goosebumps. :D

We never miss a Zedaph episode, because they have such a strong direction and concept and are so different. Sometimes we get obsessed with other storylines or content creators, but Zedaph is a constant high bar and not to be missed, I cannot think of a 'phone it in' episode.

Zedaph has the most consistent way of crafting his videos. There are almost no lows and it all comes from his choice on what story to tell each season. Always a good watch, never a dull episode.

Doing interviews is definitely a good direction for this show. There are about 25 active Hermits plus Life series guys which is 50 weeks of podcasts if you do 2 parters. That’s-a whole lotta content!

I only found Zedaph (and most other Hermits last year, I love how silly Zed is, the content is so light-hearted and unique.

Oh my gosh, the levels of excitement when i saw this pop up in my notifications!! And yes, i am a bit late to the party on this, but that's because i was catching up on all the podcasts up to this point, and also waiting to be able to watch this and give it my full attention instead of listening while doing something else Zed is such an awesome creator in everything he does, and he definitely deserves a place on the guest list of this podcast, and now the full team ZITS podcast appearances have been fulfilled too! Both this podcast and A World Without have such value and humor to be able to rewatch/listen to them over and over, which I'm super glad of because they are my absolute favourites and almost the only podcasts i engage in It's so interesting to hear Zed talk behind-the-scenes like this, especially on his minecraft creations, since there's some to see on his films (only reason I'm glad the Kris and Jack channel stopped is being able to see the Patreon content) (but I'll save that talk for podcast part 2!), especially as i want to start livestreaming mc hardcore, i think my personality and large amount of game knowledge would make it entertaining, but I'm getting a lot of pushback from the people around me who think it would be a waste of my time when i don't have a "real" job at the moment, despite looking for one for so long and no longer feeling any passion for the job type i thought i wanted to do Anyway, Zed definitely makes things i always want to come back to, there's a reason why all 3 of his channels are at the top of my sub list, and i really need to comment to show my appreciation more, especially when the comment section is a bit lackluster for the level of quality and commitment clearly made to every video!

Absolutely love Zed. There are only a few Hermits that I watch all of their Hermitcraft content as well as all of their non-Hermitcraft content. Zedaph is one of those few. Completely entertaining and likable.

There isnt many Podcasts I listen too, but this is one of my favorite... I love the chemistry you two have together... Both are so different ppl, both share the love... Cant wait to see the future for you both...

The hermits who make a point to do things in such different and creative ways are always great fun to watch. Zedaph, Cub, Etho, Joe, and Tango are the ones I think of first, but so many of the folks I watch do that (in Hermitcraft and beyond) and it always gives me inspiration for my own creations. It both shows great knowledge of the game and non-linear thinking. Zed is great fun.

One of the best podcasts out there! The conversations are really chill, feels less like interviews and more like dinnertable conversations between mates. Keep them coming! Also, Zed looks like the love child of Mumbo and Impulse 😮 handsome guy

This was a great episode, very inspirational! I loved learning about the maturity of touch. I also loved the plant in Zed's background, very lush! We have enjoyed the Zedvancements this season! The 1812 Overture with Etho was amazing!

Ha ha ha I love that Skiz who clearly shows neurodivergent thinking can't help but be drawn to Zed another person who also is thinking outside the box it's like the odd ducks are drawn together. I've seen it all throughout my life hospitality is just full of characters with these lived experiences that don't fit the standard model but when you get them together they make incredible teams, creativity is the norm, Chaos abounds but the quality is just top notch because they are getting the best out of each other. Love it! ❤

Zedaph has become one of my favorite Hermits to follow along with during this season of Hermitcraft (along with the Create Series) and it makes me wish I had started watching his videos sooner! He has incredible attention to detail and really takes the time to fully flesh out his videos so it always strikes such a lovely balance between all the aspects that make for a fun and entertaining viewing experience. It's consistently polished with a ton of creativity so whenever it pops up in my subscriptions feed, I already know it's gonna be a great way to spend 20-30 minutes of my time. I have not been a long time fan of Zed, as I only found him at the beginning of season 9. However, he very quickly became one of my absolute favorites. I've loved every episode I've watched and this podcast had me smiling every second. In regards to being unique, my thought it always to embrace it. How boring would the world be if we were all the same, enjoyed the same type of humor, or liked the same things and so on? Being unique is what makes you, you.

I loved what Zed said about how if he’s enjoying what he’s doing, then others will enjoy watching. It is so true! Sometimes it doesn’t matter for me if a content creator is playing a game I like or not, if they’re having fun so will I. Very excited for part 2!

Zed is a secret genius. When my wife and i first started watching Hermitcraft videos we were very guilty of overlooking Zedaph thinking his content was too silly for us. Over time, we realized that Zed is actually just as brilliant as any of the smartest hermits. The trick is Zedaph uses creativity and genius together to develop wild ideas to keep the game fresh. We went from overlooking Zedaph to looking forward to each new video with rapt anticipation.

An amazing guest with Zedaph. I started hearing about Zedeph on Tango’s Create Mod Minecraft series. I started watching Zed last season of Hermitcraft.

I love love Zeds content and skizz’s way of describing it is bang on And when tango gets involved it’s going to be funny

At about 36 mins, you ask Zed if he's gone back and watched his previous videos. I would say that if you don't feel that you from a year or two ago was an idiot, you've not developed and grown enough! Learning by doing and experimenting is sort of Zeds vibe. I am absolutely sure skizz has said something like 'you're either getting better, or you're getting worse, nothing stays the same'. I would love to see a Zed and Skizz collab series that embodies this!

Zed's content is special compared to the other Hermits' because most things he comes up with for season themes or off the cuff stuff seems to involve as many of the other hermits as possible. He's like a break from the grind for a lot of the hermits that would otherwise be down in a mine somewhere or building the 8th floor of their mega base, or doing yet another redstone farm. He's like the Music Man. He rolls into town, and you just know you're going to have some fun with him no matter what he has you doing, and then you can go back to your work. He also undersells his MC skills. We just don't always get to see them because his content is so different, but something like Zedvancements means you know the game in and out in order to come up with them. I really wish the Create mod were something all the Hermits would want to use for a season, just to see what they'd come up with. Give that tool to Zed, and he'd still be the zaniest hermit on the server, only times ten.

Zed just plays Minecraft... differently. Like, it is very hard to pin-point what his "style" is. It's wacky, and silly, and unexpected. Every episode is like a present on Christmas morning!

As a fan of both runescape and hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, am honestly amazed that zedaph is also a fan of it too!
