@@shashibhusantripathy696 I am not sure why you don't want to use margin for the intraday trades. You can achieve this by placing the order as CNC (delivery) and sell it on the same day. Zerodha will treat it as intraday trade and will charge the same fees.

15:30 Zerodha is miles ahead not just in profit and active users but feature richness of platform. - UPStox has all half backed features 18:00 - Wondering, a broker like UpStox who earns in croers cannot put these basic features required by traders. (Only reason could be not serious about own business) - You cannot create multiple baskets in UPStox - You cannot create GTT order in Web Interface (you have to jump to mobile app for that) - The OI data shown in UPStox doesnt show delta value (Half baked feature) - Only strategy mode is available in UPStox and you cannot add more than 4 scripts in it! - In strategy mode, it doesnt show how much funds/margins are required to run this All the features mentioned above are easily available in Zerodha

6:10 same has happened to me in the year of 2015. I opened an account with sharekhan with an initial capital of 10k, in those days broker used to call the clients and ask to punch order according to there own understanding, no role of clients whatsoever, so one fine day they called me and ask for my permission to buy or sell CE or PE of some random company, I'm being absolutely novice to the market I gave my permission to execute the order, and voila a LOSS of 8.5k, than from that day i left the stock market, missing on a huge opportunity of learning and making money, for almost 5 years. I regret for this even today (Thouh I returned to the market in the August of 2020 and today I'm profitable on my own).

My 1st acount was on Upstox (Feb 2022). Costs brokerage charges 20 + 20 (buy + sell) total flat 40 rupees .. then I switched to Zerodha for 0 brokerage(less than 1 rupee) .. now I am a zerodha user.

Honestly, in my initial days, when I was dubious about investment and stock market, I stepped back from Zerodha, just seeing the account opening fees. Later, I opened accounts on Upstoxx, Groww and Kuvera. Among these, I felt Groww has a very clean and simple UI. I'm a dedicated investor now and I use Groww for all my investments.

I am a trader. in the month of April my friend faced a problem where groww app stopped working all of a sudden, he had an intraday position open too. And even tried to close position on PC but Groww apps website wasn't working.Then i checked live stream of "Invest for wealth" and came to know many people faced the same issue and were complaining about the same in live chat. I never faced any issue with order execution or opening the app in zerodha

The whole business model was based on keeping things simple. Kamat's were young traders themselves so they understood how young people use it and what they wanted. This is why interface is simple to use. They knew once customer uses it then they will not use anything else so they really did not need extensive marketing. It is like Apple with their cult users. Apple interface was based on keeping things simple but of high quality.

I am having my account with HDFC Securities. HDFC Securities should learn from this talk. HDFC Securities should reduce its brokerage charges substantially to discourage its existing customers from shifting their account to Zerodha like brokers. It is important not to lose existing customers and focus on encouraging the existing customers by reducing the heavy brokerage being charged and scaling up the number of transactions to increase profitability.

@@1Bond007 lol , they are not charging any AMC fees and also brokerage for delivery is very less( 0.05% or rs 20). Where as in same category upstox is charging 2% or rs 20. Also zerodha is charging amc of 300rs +18 %gst.

I'm not sure if Zerodha's strategy can be replicated because it was one of the first online broker that made investing simpler. A lot of people flocked to Zerodha and even my dad began increasing his investment because of simplicity in Zerodha's website and the ability to track easily. I don't remember any other online brokerage being used at the time when computer and smartphone penetration just began 2012-2015.

I am using upstox (from 8 month) , grow(from 8 month) and zerodha (from 8.5 years) , I can say that zerodha is best for me. In last 8.5 years they have never sent me any unnecessary email or notifications, upstox is opposite! Zerodha has very simple, minimalist interface from starting. Zerodha is very good for traders and investors both.

Very recently...reported on Zee business....Zerodha accounts had been reportedly hacked and lakhs of rupees of people have been stolen or penny stocks bought ... On top of that , Zerodha uses sasta servers....which are down atleast 4-5 times a year...

Zerodha's Kite is no doubt best and user friendly. But its customer service is worst. Demant accounts are being hacked and Zerodha's customers are most vulnerable. An hapless Zerodha customer whose demat account was hacked contacted customer care. Despite repeated request, the customer care executive did not block the account and the hacker kept on selling stocks. This continued for 40 minutes.

Yes Pawan. Being a no 1 broker of India, Zerodha does not have an option to block their client account for temporary basis if such issue occurs. Its an eye opening learning for Zerodha users.

If product is good people will buy without advertisements. Mouth publicity is more than any advertisements. that's zerodha It applies for all the products of MFCG ,but people spend money on advertisements instead of improving product quantity

I beg to differ here on Zerodha being the best. Angel broking has been providing the superior service at same brokerage. Angel has also been reporting good results ever since it has got listed and I have hardly seen any ads. Also, I have been hearing issues at Zerodha platforms but never faced one in years on Angel. I am not sure if you are being biased towards it, I may be wrong.

@@ankushdebnath149 I didn't see a single ad when I was using. May be they started after I switched to youtube plus but still I never saw one ad in a long time. Also, angel has been very very transparent in transactions and the app is too good. I am using it since more than 6 years now. Possibly you never never used Angel's services.
