i like the 2000-2010 howard the best, when artie was on and Beet was making regular apparences... That was definitely the beat times. Havent even watched howard since wushdishmeen went down, no access to it outside of the U.S. but most new clips i seen are pretty boring.
I liked this old Howard persona. He was such a softie and nice guy but played this shocking dude to the public. I used to watch Arsenio every night. Loved his show. Lol. They do a rehearsal. They know exactly what he is gonna day and how he’s gonna say it.
I love Stern's eyes and teeth here. Very pretty. I miss this Stern. And it's funny Arsenio very shady told Stern "wait right here" after his segment and had his 'security " escort him and Fred and gary I believe out of the building and wouldnt allow him back on the show...
"I wouldn't be surprised if Fox drove Edgar Rosenberg to his death." may be the most shocking line ever uttered on network television. Given that they were on Fox. And the executives that fired Edgar were still in charge. I saw this live when I was 17, I was a big Stern fan. But after he said that, I was so mortified I had to change the channel. It may not seem like much today, but trust me that was the most insane, ballsy thing he could've said that evening.
I always liked Arsenio. He has a sincerity about him which is rare in the entertainment world． While the show itself was hit or miss, it was often more realistic and educating than much of the crap we have now.
Howard Stern is a tough guest to handle - but Arsenio isn't doing so bad here. His "just another black man making more money than you" was a great line and really threw Howard off for the rest of the segment
It's funny Howard did this n acted a way in letterman too. It's funny but anyone who listens to his show everyday knows it's how he articulates things is what makes him so good. He's hilarious. He always acts like this on talk shows. N it doesn't give him credit for how smart he is

He's more knowledgeable about more things now that he's older... But what a great no-crap personality he has! He still is just as formidable and headstrong as he ever as been, he still tells you to take a hike if he doesn't like what you're doing, I think he's just a bit more suttle...
For those who don't know Howard , he is a straight forward individual who will speak his mind . He is intelligent and successful . Remember timid people will never succeed .
This was Joan Rivers Late Night Show that was suppose to go against Johnny Carson but she feel out with the producers and she left. The networks heads had different people fill in and Arsenio stated killing it and he got his show a year later.
Her husband was super demanding so they told her he has to go if she wants to continue the shoe. She picked her husband over the show. Fox was pretty shitty
First off, Howard DOES NOT get paid the 500M for each of the 5 year contracts he's committed to - he gets 500M to use over 5 years for the shows budget, including payroll, events, guests, studio equiptment, etc. He recieved approximately 200M worth of shares in Sirius, and takes a salary from the 500M budget for the show.
Whats scary is that those same leather jogging pants have made their way back into vogue.. Sometimes I think that the fashion industry is really the biggest joke ever played on the humanity...
Is this the Arsenio appearance where Howard was thrown out, then bought Baba Booey a First Class plane ticket to help him get through it, except he promptly fell asleep?
I believe this is his one and only appearance he had on the show. He has had Arsenio on his show. He says he was in danger getting off and away from this show, the crowd hated him. Baba Booey was there with him back stage and helped him safely escape.
A bad show can make anyone look bad, that's why Howards show is successful they can make anyone look good. Most people on earth don't know who this guy is but everyone knows who Howard is.
