People said we would destroy Howe with negativity and high expectations. We just wanted a manger who cares and a team that plays as hard as they can. That’s why Eddie has my respect. That’s why we will keep backing him despite what outsiders think
@@hom3r .... no one said they wanted Bruce as manager 🤣🤣🤣 We all loved Rafa as manager but our owner then didn't match his ambitions and refused to back him, of course he was bound to leave and would be welcome back. Howe is an intelligent manager, he has already got the team playing better. Could we still be relegated..? Of course, the fact Ashley and Charnley arnt here softens that blow massively 🙃
i genuinely think he can do better if he is given time at newcastle . and bournemouth played some good football back when howe was their manager . so lets hope he avoids relegation .
he has an energy and positivity about him...and don't forget his last job which was his first they were bottom of the whole English Professional League when he took over and he took them all the way to the PL with positive football
Ignore the big name attacking signings. Needs 4 solid defenders to base things on. Watch the game in a few minutes and see if you agree. Edit: just watched them. The whole back line is a problem.
Hopefully Newcastle can make some improvements in January! It will be interesting to see who they can manage to bring in and which players do want to move to Newcastle at this moment in time
@@mosalahmosalahrunningdownt5579 Werner would still improve the side though, would be a good player to get in. But I personally think Werner would be out of reach
@@mosalahmosalahrunningdownt5579 Yeah I don't think Werner wil move away from Chelsea yet, but if he did there would still be European clubs playing in Europe willing to give him another chance due to what he's done at Leipzig. Nagelsmann could make a move for him to get him to Bayern at some point, he got the best out of him before so why not. Or I can see Dortmund getting him in, why would he go to Newcastle now other than money when he's at this stage in his career you know?
@@themondayleague he's in a bad stage in his career. he may move back 2 a farmers league but for a non-farmers league club wouldn't want and i don't think it's a case of getting the best put out him as he flopped under lampard & tuchel
They need to have been working on the transfer window since the day the club was taken over. Players need to be coming in pretty much as soon as the window open, deals need to be essentially done by now and just taken over the line when the window opens. They cannot afford to not have any new players for much longer
Sky Sports if you are listening please skip the cheesy, cringey stuff like that opening question. We don't get much time with managers especially these days and we don't need it wasted by asking the poor man if hes done his Christmas shopping, keep it football and don't turn into the BBC.
Why is the interviewer asking him questions about coffee. Think we need to get real here, 1 game from halfway through the season and only 10 points. Ask how do you intend to practically treble your first half of the season performance just to “possibly” stay up.
Eddie Howe Is a good Manager we can see that.He dropped Krafth after one game never played him again and put Schar and Manquillo back in along with Jamal Lewis. And made the team fitter but can't press as a team still .
And so what if we do get relegated, alls we fans want is some fight back in our team. 14 years of crap under Ashley. I think relegation isn't that bad knowing that in the years to come we will be something, so keep going with your digs at us TOON supporters but we'll have the last laugh. Come on the toon
Some of these comments make me laugh yet some do have a point. Agree bruce couldn't win the fans over since he walked in the door and the abuse was unfair. Yet a true Newcastle fan would not go up and manage Sunderland. Howe I love, very down to earth and honest and we do look more positive going forward yet defensively we are horrendous. If some one said your going to be the richest club in the world but get relegated I would of snapped there hand off to get ashley out. On the up soon guys so watch out ⚫️⚪️🇸🇦
The Major Problem For Newcastle is That the only Players Who Will Want To Come There are The Money Hunters and Not those Who Will be Up for a Relegation Battle, and they are the ones you really need at the moment. ..I fear For You Guys Because If, And Its a Big If, You go down there will be an exodus out of your club.....So Good Luck Because Money isnt what saves a Club....
All we need is a solid CB and a RB rlly with a few additions in the midfield, Ramsey is terminating his deal at Juve so he would he a good solution to get our midfield running more, maybe make room for willock to go back to a CAM position where he thrives and maybe go to one of the big clubs to get a striker on loan until the end of the season. Maybe Jovic with an option to buy in the summer as he is a good player but simply not RM standard. We will see but Howe has my faith and I always give a manager a chance I even gave Bruce until Jan of 2021 until he said 'i'm going to do things my way'. Even though Mclarren was unlucky so we will see but we don't want to fill the squad with a bunch of panic buys like some teams have but if we go down we go down the quality of the bottom 4 will be awful this year similar to last season. Even Leeds in 16th look ready for the drop, gunna be interesting but long term success is the goal, if we need to good down to build stronger foundations then so be it
He only went down once. As for his track record, keeping a team like Bournemouth in the Premier league for five seasons is unbelievable. They almost went out the football league altogether not that long ago; but under his watch they only got better.
there are only 2 options Newcastle can afford decent players this winter, loaning high wages bench players like Bale, Coutinho, Ramsay, Umtiti, or buying players with high transfer fee but low relegation release clause.
Bit of a random comment. But Eddie kind of reminds me of David Bowie. He sounds like him and kind of looks like him around the mouth/teeth. Both Heroes!
I like the way he is NOT giving anything away on players comming in but i believe it be a bombshell and bumper on talent comming in January Some loans x3 i believe and 4 new signings including a TOP striker i believe is on the cards.
@@BigSmokeMUFC couldn't win a treble in the big bad Scottish League tho lol 😂👍🏼 Aye coz it's that easy lol , even when his team won the league with 20odd points , pumped out 2 cups lol , 🤣 only domestic league he's ever won is Scottish lol that defo gets up his beak lol 🤣
What's the point u r trying to make? So if u have been successful in Scottish premier league u r more likely to get hired by an English club? U could say the same about every team outwith the top 4 in premier league (That u only take the job of manager of the other 16 is to cv buff) I am finding ur logic hard to comprehend.
He hasn't signed anybody yet, and hasn't said anything about incoming transfers. How would you know his transfer plan. All the stuff in the media is speculation..
They say that your football team is a reflection of your manager....Eddie Howe nice guy, says the right things, doesn't exude much confidence, desperately wants to succeed, but ultimately not good enough. That's NUFC in a nutshell. Let's see if the money makes a difference.
Remember a month ago when people were saying that Newcastle will quickly settle in the top 6 and top 4 within 2 or 3 seasons. So many went crazy on the day of the announcement
They can I mean their first transfer window in the oil money era will start soon and they can spend to stay in the premier league this season and then push for top 6 next season. They have the money
Erling Haaland's last interview....."I was born in Leeds but grew up supporting Newcastle because of the passion , the fans it would be a dream to play there"
Nice guy but sadly, he probably doesn't have the right managerial experience to get Newcastle out of the current playing mess. Hard work alone won't be enough since everyone else will be working just as hard. He may be able to bring in a couple of players in January (on big money short term deals) that could be useful but so will the other clubs down at the bottom. After all the tears at the end of the season, it will be a very long way back for Newcastle and whoever they choose as their next Manager...
@@matty8700 Fair call. In my defence, I was wrong about the other struggling clubs buying in players (as Newcastle did) and ultimately, this proved the difference. Financial resources won the battle perhaps. A great escape and onwards and upwards the club will hopefully go. A bit of a shame about all those dead people in Yeman of course but footy is much more important, eh?
howe does all his best work in the media -always has, presents well, speaks well.. pity he has had little success or no success in managing in the premiership, watch this space.
I mean, he got a team that had never been there in their entire history there from league 2, then kept them there for 5 years with a 15k stadium, but yeah, no success 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Magic trick's are illusion's castle's are not stopping up thinking they will is called delusions Howe invested and built a bournemouth team that went down he isn't known for getting team's to midtable pl .
