In this video Funny Bug Bees will show you step by step how to build a screened inner hive cover for your 8 frame beehive. Simple, easy to follow instructions using nothing but a table saw.
At about the 23:49 mark I wrongly said "inner cover above this" and I should of said "outer cover above this".

Cool deal Clif - I made them flat and just added a shim on top to bring the cover up a bit. Less cuts that way....

True, less cuts, but then i have to keep track of shims...and i have to much crap to keep up with already :P

Where did you get that adjustable stop jig for your table saw?

where do you get your hardware cloth? The only options i have locally are steel window screen and 1/8th galvanized (that seems like the spacing is too large as bees stick their heads through and get stuck)

I have made your double screen cover and installed it on one of my hives. When would you use that instead of this single screen cover?

personally I like the double screen one because its reversible, which means you can provide the bees a rear entrance with the double screen one and you cant with this.
