i remember watching this back in like 2015 and now every few months i rewatch it even though i dont have much interest in making one myself. a true classic.
I first watched this video back in second grade. Here I am about to start another year of high school, and I end up getting recommended this video all these years later.
That's pretty awesome, can't believe you did a Harvick diecast that way though :p Seriously though, I appreciate it. I'm wanting to make a 1949 Jim Roper diecast.
That looks great! Id like to start making some 1/64 scale customs with decals. Im going to check that site out to see if I can find anything I like. My only complaint, and its not a big deal, when you strip the paint or when you prime, you should make sure all the yellow paint is gone. At the end when you flipped the truck you could still see quite a bit of yellow. Its not a big deal, but I get OCD on some things haha!
Hey, I really enjoyed watching this video. I want to get into making my own diecast as well. Is there a possiblity of making an instructional video on disessembling a 2008 nascar COT car? Thank you.
A question about headlights that are decals: Did decals for new headlights come with the decal sheet? IS it possible to mask off the old headlights and keep them instead? I'm going to repaint a NASCAR body with a stock paint job, and wondering what I should do for headlights. Maybe just print them on thin paper and glue them on? Your ideas welcome.
I will pay for a Caleb Holman truck right now! That's my driver! I know he had someone make some guys on the team some. I wonder if you built the ones like this that some of the pit crew had? I do want to buy a 75 truck just like that if your making more.. great video!
How much and when do you have time? I'd love to buy one. Your work is the best I've seen. I just started building customs but I'm building easier ones to start out. Trevor Bayne taco bell car is the one I'm starting with but I'd rather you do the 75 truck because I want perfection.
Great tutorial! I might try making my own paint scheme on a car soon. Do you have any recommendations on how to print them? If you don't know how it's fine.

I'm doing my first custom how many coats of primer is best and does it matter the color of the primer(white or black)? And how many coats of paint ? the car is all flat black. Thanks.
When using stripper put your diecast over cardboard or improvise something other than a sink . The stripper will dry and the leftovers can be put into the trash ✌
