Beautiful Hoya! I began collecting them about 8 months ago, and there is no going back…be warned Hoya obsession is real….I have about 25 varieties and have started buying the very rare tiny leafed ones. At first I didn’t even like Hoyas, now they are my favorite species. Looking forward to more Hoya content on your channel. Thank you! 😊🌱
Thank you for this. I have been thinking of getting a Hoya and the Krimson Queen would be perfect for me since I like really like variegated plants. I will be looking for it in my garden centers. Right now I am "propagating" a Baby Tears plant that one of our cats got into. Your video was helpful with that. Now if I can only get my Rattlesnake plant to thrive. Thanks again.
My KQ has been a disaster. I have lost about 15 leaves since purchasing her a month ago. I have no idea what’s wrong with her but I just tried my last ditch effort to salvage her. She was stunning when I bought her. Beautiful hot pink stems, several white leaves, and every few days, I get black spots. The leaves go soft and shrivel and die. The soil smells odd. Not putrid but more mossy like. So, I repotted it, washed it, took the black spotted leaves off and it still dropped and created spotted leaves. Now I used an extremely diluted bleach wash on the roots and repotted her. I am hoping this is the final fix. I’m so sad. I just don’t seem to have success with Hoya KQ. This is my 2nd one and of note, no, I do not over water her. 😭
