There are plenty in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff. So where in the UK do you live? As I’ve covered quite a few major cities tbh. I’m thinking of opening my own Somali restaurant one day. And yes, Somali food is best kept secret. When my brother was living in Cairo, Egypt and my aunts cooked for the locals they were so eager for the food that that asked us to teach their wives how to cook the meat. They were in love with sugaar among other cousins. Alhamdulillaah I miss Somali food whenever I’m abroad on holiday and I need to learn to cook before I ever think of living abroad lol

That green sauce is called basbaas and there's two versions of it one that's made with Xamar or Raqay (tamarind) and the one you just ate which is just made of blended green peppers mixed with onions and garlic.

But best authentic Somali food is canjeero/laxoox served with oodgac (minced meat sometimes prepared with dates to last long and stay fresh) and it's usually eaten in the morning. Muufo (flat bread) served with maraq-hilib (meat soup mixed with potatoes and onion). Aleeso (lamp) served with bariis (rice).

Thanks so much, it has a big part to do with understanding light to, Light can make a camera with good lens look great or make it look bad if the camera sensor is not big with a great brand clearer lens. I am using at the beginning out Side my Samsung s9 front camera and then the main video my Canon g7x mark II. Then the end Im using my cell phone again I hope that helps.

Now people in Somalia become obese and suffering hypertension and diabetes. Beacuase people eat fast food and most people have cars and they walk like before my dad use to walk 30km from city to his village as a kid. Now people take 5 minutes car rides.

Fast food is no so widespread in Somalia and the majority of the people still prefer traditional Somali cuisine. Obesity is not a healthy issue like many other countries for obvious reasons.
