Looks good. I need to know whether it supports Chromecast with google TV please. ( chromecast with google tv doesnt work with every PD enabled usb-c hub. Even if data storage works, LAN might not etc. )
My friend, I just connected it to the Google Chromecast and I am very pleased to report that this hub works to power it, transfer data via pen-drive / external drive, control with mouse and keyboard, Use LAN, all at the came time, and use the stock remote. No issues you're good to go. I wish I could show you. I also would like to thank you for enlightening me and giving me critical test to perform in my next Type C video. 🙏👍👍
@@tvboxstop Thats great news. Im looking forward to more of your reviews. Please also test in the future if the original charger for the chromecast (only 7,5 W / 5V x 1,5A ) is enough to power both the chromecast and the hub during use ( i have seen many different situations - it may turn on and show not enough power screen or it may show google logo and keep rebooting .. or it may work perfectly even with this low power charger ) but probably if you tried to use an external usb powered hdd, you need a more powerful power delivery charger. Thank you very much.
No 4K@60fps. No mention of whether both SD card slots can be used at the same time (highly unlikely). No mention of the quality of shielding that can interfere with connected wireless USB devices No word on how hot it gets (a particular issue with so many of these kinds of hubs) . No practical demonstration of how fast the data transfer can actually be, particularly when populated with a number of storage devices (heat being a potential major issue in this kind of instance). Way too many unanswered questions that should be the default of any kind of productive review. Sadly it came across as more of a lucrative tie in with the seller than something that could inspire a purchase, which begs suspicion and when you look at the seller store front, no clear mention of where they are actually situated on the planet, so even more potential trust issues with a name that I suspect few have ever heard of before.
