dont sweat it, people just love to hate on anything hoyo makes because of anime ick mixed with it being super popular. gachas arent for everyone but it doesnt mean you gotta put people down that hard for trying them.

Hoyo games have their difficult moments (such as the spire from Genshin), but they definitely have the starting combat difficulty turned WAY down so their players can get used to the controls. In my opinion, its cool! People less into games, or this genre, have the ability to catch on to HOW to play! The gatcha kinda sucks tho, definitely agree with you there.

@@chaodai8579 as someone who played in the most recent closed beta and played the "Challenge" mode, cause im an action combat veteran. the challenge mode was medium difficulty at best. higher tiers of difficulties dont add any mechanics or moves to enemies, just more damage and more resistant. i got to the end of the available content and it was not great, honestly the roguelike event in Wuthering Waves is much more fun. and it also does combat way better.

I’m a reasonably big hoyo fan, I don’t play any other gatcha games but I played Genshin for about 6 months on launch and I’m STILL playing HSR since launch and it’s one of my favourite games. Hoyo plus roguelike sounds like something I would love buuuutt I don’t think this is for me. love love LOVE that hutts got this sponsor though. This is his job and sponsors can be a massive help financially. You can call him a gatcha shill or a sell out or whatever but the man doesn’t do a lot of sponsors and that should be a testament to his integrity. I trust that hutts wouldn’t do this JUST for the pay check. Haters gonna hate

I've always struggled to get into Hoyoverse games since I'm not a fan of their character design and the games are just not very appealing to me gameplay wise. But this looks like a game of theirs that I'll FINALLY be interested in. The combat looks really slick and engaging.

It's a gacha. Hutts has never been one to openly play them and I doubt he actually likes gachas. Many content creators that aren't into gachas have rather deadpanned expressions and attitudes while playing this one especially. What did you think he was going to look like playing this?

As far as Gacha goes, Hoyoverse doesn't do it so badly. And I'm saying this as someone who's barely played their games so I'm not a fanboy or anything. But yeah, even though I agree they would be better without Gacha, you can 100% have a good time and complete these games without ever spending a dime on them.
