Hozier - Take Me To Church - Live - NYC Subway - Pop Up Show 

‘Arsonists Lullaby’ is a bonus track on Hozier’s self-titled debut, that’s how the good the album is. He recorded ‘Take me to Church’ in his parents attic and uploaded it to Reddit hoping for maybe a few listeners at home in Ireland. The next day it was being played on radio stations across the US and it recently passed 2 billion streams on Spotify - it’s safe to say that song was everywhere!

Funny that you mention "Luciferian music. " Hozier's latest album, which was released a little over a month ago, is very loosely based on Dante's Inferno, with the song "themes" representing the different circles.

Powerful voice and the background singers really give it a spiritual feel…well…even more so. Good request.

Something haunting in his melodies and the quality of his voice. Backup singers notwithstanding, vocally there's nowhere to hide and no crutch to lean on in such a setting - just the strength of the song and your own performance. I saw this not long ago for the first time without any knowledge about him or hot tune status. But it grabbed me, riveted. Often out of step, nice to find on my own time. As with some singers I miss out on lyrics, so glad that's the easy part to find. Taking it underground in my city, kudos. Tailor made for that space.

He's very talented

Someone said: "Hozier can impregnate you just by his voice", this made me think of that!
