I really dig his voice. There’s a depth to his tone and fine intricacies with his stylization choices. His writing is impeccable. I’ve never heard a hozier song that I didn’t like. He is one my top ten artists. He is a musician and plays several instruments as well.
I love how much you loved this song. And I love that one of the 1st things that you said, was how it made you feel about your wife. And yes, it is ballroom dancing; romantic ^_^. If marriage is in my cards, I hope my husband would have such a reaction as you did.
I am happy that you think the same about how poetic his lyrics are..and he is a rare talent in my opinion, making really good music..music with a soul and purpose you know..you totally should see his the MV's for songs from his last EP..Nina Cried Power and Movement..
Hozier is one guy, Andrew Hozier. Incredible artist . Poetic is right! Beautiful themes, melodies, lyrics in each song . Try Cherry Wine, Sedated, Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene.
I love that you love this beautiful, powerful song as much as we do. The lyrics are the real Andrew Hozier Byrne too, not just words used to create a money making song.
Love that song, it's so mesmerising, hypnotic or something - that slow steady thumping percussion (and the lyrics and meaning are fab too)... just gorgous.
Until a couple of minutes ago I had only heard "Take me to Church" by Hozier. I love this song...so glad I checked it out. I'll be checking out more...
Love Hozier!!! He just came out with a new album, first out was "Nina Cried Power" with Mavis Staples, which is so powerful. You were very fair about "Take Me To Church" - his songs all have a depth to them which I don't often find in modern pop, soooooo worth a listen even if you end up disagreeing on further contemplation. His influences include both traditional music from his homeland and American jazz - makes for some very unique music!
Cait Hill it absolutely is for me without question in top 3 albums of my adult lifetime. I’m not sure how the man can write songs that are literally my deepest inner emotions and life experiences that I’ve lived from love to addiction. He literally writes phenomenal songs that are scripts of how I feel but can’t express in words. He’s a fucking beautiful beast of a wizard.
i really like your channel, i like how you give every genre a chance, i personally enjoy all music... though i usually lean more Country and Alternative. Keep it up.
Please try Hozier song Shrike it’s a beautiful song. If you love this one. Your gonna love this one. It’s on his new CD Wasteland Baby 🥰 Thank you and God Bless🙏🏽🕊
Brenda Brown my fav ever heard it the first time driving on a bus at night going through the Sinai peninsula in egypt just stared at the stars and listened
Another awesome reaction Hozier has definitely been one of my favorite Singers in the last few Years. Cobi - Don't You Cry for Me is another awesome song from a similar sounding artist would definitely recommend a listen.
Any excuse to dance with your wife is a good one. Been married 24 years and we still stop in the middle of stores and dance if a song we like comes on. (it doesnt even bother our kids anymore.
Try Ray LaMontagne (I think) and his 'Saved by a Woman', another great voice, Hozier is great looking forward to his new album, thanks for the reaction, nice :)
I feel it was a spiritual way of expressing yourself to the one you love and your love for them will never die no matter the circumstances. This is a song everyone can relate to in one way or another and you could listen to over and over for the power the song possess.
My favorite things about Hozier's music is that his lyrics are always respectful towards women. Genuine love. I highly recommend Nina Cried Power by him. It's a tribute to the many singers who used their music to advocate for ppl's rights and liberation and it features Mavis Staples!
I clicked the likely button for this. Suggestion Roy Orbinson Pretty Woman from Black and White. Nice guitars at around the 2.30 mark with James Burton.
Matter of fact you will love From Eden a more upbeat tune, Shrike is very poetic..of course Take Me To Church...theres a live version of the last song where a choir showed up to his show and it was awesome...
Hozier??. Lol Isn't he that dude that Upchurch and Adam Calhoun dropped diss tracks on? Edit: "Huck Fozier" is the name of one of those diss tracks, I believe.
Hey please please react to evanescence lost in paradise live in germany it’s acoustic version or react to evanescence the change from the same show live in germany both are beautiful songs
