@@NiccKennedy and in the bios i remember i was just checking it out after installing windows i just turned on Fast Boot And The Intel Active management technology. In that section there were 2 one was intel management technology and the other one was the active Management technology
@@NiccKennedy i saw that the intel management technology was and the active one wasnt so i turned it on and f10 then it started boot looping as soon as i started it on like it will start and then restart tryed reseting cmos but no luck there.
@@arslan_exe On another working computer, make the bios recovery usb, like in the video. After bios recovery usb is made, unplug corrupted computer for 5-10 seconds, plug in bios recovery usb, plug in power, turn on computer and hold windows key + B. that should boot to the bios recovery usb, and restore the bios.
Every time I try to install the Bios update file from HP website (from another PC) the *hp system bios update utility* doesn't display (which means It doesn't display to option to create a recovery using a usb drive). Instead of that, I simply get a file named "Winflash" and when I try to open it, It says: "this app can't run on your PC".
Install 7zip on your computer, then try to do this method listed here in the link. h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware/DV4-1120us-bricked-by-HP-s-own-Bios-update/m-p/20598#M2848
@@NiccKennedy I tried to download the file from step 1 but the page only gets in blank. I also tried to copy and paste the link but It doesn't display anything.
@@Jsuis_f use those steps with the file that you already downloaded. The file that was there in the link that's not even for your computer You want to use what you downloaded for your computer but follow that procedure that I linked to.
@@NiccKennedy I followed the steps, I had to left step 7 out as my laptop's battery is no removable, and when I inserted the usb pendrive my laptop doesn't read it at all It still says: "The BIOS recovery files cannot be found of the files are corrupted"
please help my hp pavillion dm4 2015dx stockup on windows logo and blackscreen. i try change hard disk and flashdrive bootable not fix. what cause of my laptop sir.
Stuck on windows logo? It could be multiple things. Try different ram, and also if you change the hard disk, it is also required to install windows again,. Other than the ram it could be a hardware fault, if I am not mistaken, that computer is from 2012, with a 2nd gen Intel i3 cpu, so very likely something is wrong with motherboard if ram does not sort out your problem. Let me know if you get your problem sorted.
Can you help me? when I turn on my monoblock computer, Computer beeping loud and show this message: The BIOS recovery files cannot be found or the files are corrupted. Using another computer and a USB flash drive, download the latest BIOS file from the HP website and create a BIOS USB recovery drive for the PC that needs recovery. Insert the BIOS USB recovery drive into the PC that needs recovery and restart the PC.
@@NiccKennedy im not sure what version it was but it was a 2015 one im pretty sure because that displays on the screen with my processor and ram information before it shuts down.
Email me with what symptoms you had, and what you have tried. We can try to find resolution to this problem. A corrupted bios, will not display anything on screen when computer is turned on.

@@NiccKennedy it did not help, and to make it worse I guess bios isn't saving any changes I make in boot settings, already tried resetting this cmos, tried another cmos battery and nothing, tried installing grub with linux also nothing...
Yes, I see, it is a laptop, did you try downloading an earlier version of the bios, creating recovery media from another computer, then booting the drive on your computer. F9 should bring up boot device options. Also, can you give me the motherboard model number, from off of the motherboard? I may have one of those boards laying around.
@@NiccKennedy yes its a laptop i did nota try the earlier versions I shall give that a try hope it works man, I'm managed to boot from ifi file ( Ubuntu ) had to purge grub then reinstall, I'll see the motherboard when I get back from the office today thanks man
