The 281(fdw) has some improvements such as faster speed, higher resolution, automatic duplex, email scan, but the print cartridges are at least twice more expensive than the 183 version.

From the specs supplied by HP: 60 to 163 g/m² (Uncoated/Matte, recommended), however up to 175 g/m² Postcards and 200 g/m² HP Matte is allowed in the driver.

The printer doesn't have duplex mode, you need to take the page out and put it back in the feed tray. It has a guide in the softer for this.

No, I have just run into this a few days ago, I've missed testing this. It doesn't print automatically on both side, you need to insert the paper again in the feed tray.
