In this video i am going to upgrade a Small form factor HP or Compaq DC7800:
The parts I am going to replace are the CPU (Processor) and the HDD with a SSD
The parts i am going to add are the GPU (Graphics Card) and add more Ram.
and in the end i will a fresh new copy of windows 10 64bit
Before the Hardware and Software Upgrade:
CPU Intel core2duo 2.33Ghz
Ram 2GB ddr2
GPU intel integrated
80GB of mechanical Hard Disk Drive
The OS was Windows 7 32bit
After the Hardware and Software upgrade:
CPU Intel core2duo 3.00Ghz
Ram 6GB ddr2
GPU ATI Radeon HD 5450
128GB SanDisk Solid State Drive
The OS is Windows 10 64bit
The end results are great it's fast and easy opens everything like office documents and internet web surfing.

I have found a regenerated DC5750, it's very old but functional. With Win10 on SSD works fine.

I have a dc5800 I rescued from my school, and it works great as a Windows Vista gaming PC. Has a 256mb ATI Radeon HD 3470, 4 gigs of RAM and a 2.66ghz Core 2 Duo.

Только cpu ставь q6700 4 ядра и памяти 8гб 4х2гб

You can put a pretty new card in that rig. Low power, low profile. ofcourse. Ive got bad memories of the hd 5450. Too weak. I got a hp compaq dc5100. Pentium 4. I managed to plug in a gt 1030 using pci-e riser cable. I used the only PCI-e port i had, a 1x! Its bottlenecked but man im glad it worked. Pcie x1 to x16. Its my retro rig. :)

Bro enjoyed the video and i am planning to upgrade too. if you don't mind could i ask a few questions ? I Have a HP DC 7900 sff 1. i have ordered ram and i am planning to upgrade the cpu to q6600 with bsel mod. 2. am worried on how to properly do it the ram is easy but the cpu and my pc is currently running windows 7 32 bit want to upgrade like you did but i have no knowledge on this kind of thing. 3. am planning to buy a gt 1030 gigabyte sff and ssd in future Would love to hear from you and how should i properly upgrade the pc i am worried when it comes to the ssd and the graphics card and cpu. i hope you can help me.

Bro can you recommend parts or name the parts you installed? Because I have the same model just collecting dust underneath my computer table I already installed around 8 gb of ram on it but since it doesn't have a graphics card it cant run a simple game as roblox

Thanks for this, I bought the exact same computer 2 days but mine has the 160gb hard drive & 4gb of ram, Was going to add 500gb SSD, change the CPU to the same one you did, get the same graphics card as you, but what configuration should I do to get to 6gb ram? I got 4 rams sticks each at 1gb, & I'm 100% new to pcs, as this is my very 1st one.

4gb is enough for office work and browsing the internet and youtube. but more ram is always better. my suggestion would be a budget low end graphics card around 2gb and a ssd.

@@ApkHeaven Sorry for bring wrong information , seems DC7800 series did not support Quad CPU , but DC7900 did , my company still has lot's of DC7900 working ....

Dell is better at upgrading the CPU even with the Intel® Q35 Express Chipset, you can try with the Q6600 but it's a 2.4 Ghz

try to find the ddr5 i wouldn't recommend you to buy the ddr4 version at all.

It will work but but I wouldn't recommend it since it is a very old PC with very old hardware and I did not try gaming on it, so I am not sure. This is more of a office or school computer.

I have a question My current cpu is pentinum(R) dual core CPUE5700 @ 3.00GHz. Should I upgrade it to intel core duo 3.00GHz or maybe intel i3-3220? Please help 🥺

intel i3 is not possible to work on this PC's motherboard since it is only LGA 755 and can only work with old Intel dual core and core duo CPU's. you should google search the CPU list for this model.

Sorry 8 months late but I say to maybe get the @3.00Ghz quad if your gonna have a lot of tabs open or do some light gaming or if it’s for work go for the 3.33Ghz model
