The photos may not be able to be scanned due to it's thickness, but assuming it can scan, and save to the computer, there should be no problem printing the scanned photos with this printer. Suggestion is to use a flatbed scanner to scan the photos - can scan more at the same time and minimize any possibility of damage due to going through any scanner rollers.
