Nice laptop. Camera and mics are good. Keyboard layout is very good. Like the full size numpad. It is laid out correctly. No very small number keys like you see on many other brand PC's with a numpad. On a light colored PC having dark keys makes it much easier to see the letters and numbers with the backlight. Like the easy access to the insides and great upgradeability options. Agree with you this is an excellent choice for business users and non business users who still use spreadsheet and other numeric type of applications. Great review.

Hey Andrew! First off, you're doing great with these reviews, and I appreciate your time and efforts in getting these reviews out to us. With regards to the laptop, it seems like a great choice for anyone who prioritizes battery life, but I also think a 4K option with everything else remaining the same could still make this laptop an all day (work day) device. I can see this laptop still last 10hrs with a 4K display. My favorite part of the laptop was the upgradable RAM, SSD, Wi-Fi card and the inclusion of a 4G modem. 5G is overrated right now so if I was to get this, I'll be OK with 4G for the next few years anyway.
This was a great review., I was on my way to go pick up one today. I said let me out at the review everything was great until the NO SD CARD slot than Ethernet most importantly for me is SD CARD since I shot music videos and photos I do need an SD Card slot. Basically I'll have to use my current laptop to transfer the content to it. I truly have to think about it because if my.current laptop says good bye than I won't be able to transfer the contents and that's something to think about. Wow now I feel like back to square one how did HP didn't add an SD Card wow I'm disturb by that especially this laptop is really good it would be great with an SD Card. One thing about HP is quality. But one thing I do not like is pricing. If you pay close to $1500usd you should get a better refresh rate of up to 120 adjustable. You should get that choice. Raise the price $100 or $200usd and provide an adjustable refresh rate up to 120. I will pay extra for the Zbook in a 16". After all I'm 70 this year and maybe my last buy. 😮 I'm in Africa for now as I have a farm here. Yet I am American citizen. I do travel somewhat but my smart phone has what I need to survive when I'm traveling into Europe or Asia.
The camera looks kinda washed out and not very clear. The internal mic is not any better I'm afraid. No ethernet port or SD card slot are other negatives. 400 nits of brightness is my cutoff point. Anything lower than that for me is not very enjoyable. Everything else looks good from the Great battery life to the 16" IPS display, audio, DDR5 RAM and Gen 4 SSD. Overall, it is an Excellent laptop suited for the business executive. Another Winner of a review from the one and only Andrew Marc David!!! 👍😁
@andrew Does this have the same issue faced by elitebook 845 g9? I mean the issue of glue coming off and pwm flickering? How good is Wolf pro security? Is it worth it?

Andrew, do you have the Elite(book) x360 1040 G9 in Studio? I ended up returning the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga G7 because it felt heavier than I thought it'd be and especially the PWM was bothering me. I wonder if these Elite(book) lines have PWM flickering issues. Thanks as always

I got this laptop, buyers beware though given he advertises this as epic battery life. There are two varients of the laptop, one with the 6 cell battery and one with a 3 cell battery. In my country they only sell the 3-cell, heavy load that gets me 2 hours of battery life, light usage can get me up to 8. The touchpad on the laptop is great, its clickable on most of the surface with an even feeling click (90%) but the 10% that isn't you won't realistically hit because of the size, so in perception its a fully clickable touchpad with a very nicely tuned click, very pleasant touch surface and great calibration out of the box. The only thing I managed to break was the HP Sure Run and Sure Recover feature, I recommend people to stay away from those since I can't turn those off. As far as Linux compatibility goes this laptop is going to be fantastic, but will need Kernel 6.2 or newer before its compatible out of the box.
@@ookami-chan3328 who cares. In this laptop build, display and keyboard are much more important since they are bought as fleets by corpo. Very few people buy these for personal use.

Ryzen 6000 Pro processor, 16" display, reasonable weight, numpad, GREAT batterylife AND LTE option for 1500$ was just insane! Sadly the sale seems to be over, still one of the best pro laptops if you have the money though.
Nice. But the numpad is mostly useless and makes the rest of the keyboard be asymmetric, too much on the left. This also means that there's not e enough space for good front facing speakers.
The only issue I see is external ram is usually much slower than soldered ram (4800mhz vs 6400mhz) the Lenovo laptops game performance is gonna stomp this one. And what's with the Lach of game benchmarks.
