Pavilion 15-ec1000, doesn't work. They locked Advanced so that "users don't break their PCs which HP then has to fix for free". Guess what? Backlit timing (30 sec by default) configures in Advanced. Nice move.
i have hp envy x360 i7 11 gen and advanced bios settings is not available in my laptop i have tried everything to unlock advenced bios settings but nothing worked
seriously this is the exact same pet peeve i have with my spectre x360. you can’t control the keyboard backlight timing or select battery adaptive battery optimization. i hate HP for this
because you may not have these settings unlock-able in your bios :') lol I'm in the boat where i have new bios firmware and they removed a lot of settings available to the 590 chipset. I'm going to be modifying the firmware image myself for the hp zbook fury g8 using firmware t95_01150000. I'll release it if it works for anyone else to have. There's several settings they removed on this workstation.
Can someone tell me how to flash a Bios to HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible. I can’t get any Windows to boot keep freezing and rebooting over and over I’m on bios version F.23
For HP Pavilion 15-csxxxx (F23 bios) I used CTRL + F10: F9 (to go to the Bootmanager) CTRL + F10 when on the Boot manager (instead of CTRL + F1) F10 to enter the bios Works like a charm!
I have the InsydeH20 F.91 version, unfortunately this key combination doesn't work for me. Do you have any other suggestions? I don't understand why the menu is hidden.

@@vishalpurigosawi93 no first of all how can it cause any bios issues second it may not work on some hp laptops because hp disabled overclocking and underclocking on most laptops which is stupid and annoying
@@xenstence I have hp 348G4 Notebook PC Laptop & it has i5 7200U 7thGen, I've recently upgraded it with crucial 1TB SSD & 8GB RAM. The Advanced Bios Menus on my system is accessible by pressing "A" key immediately just before entering into bios settings menu & it worked unexpectedly. I've updated the BIOS version to F.67 Insyde 2023.

I have a problem after updating the Bios from the official HP site..after installing the new bios on an hp 250 g3 (Insyde F.49 3/7/2020) i can no longer access in any way the bios with F10 or from inside windows...laptop works fine boots windows 10 64bit but i have this problem! Recovery seems it doesnt work too! It boots to windows. I can only boot from windows to startup menu and access only F1 F2 F9. Pressing F10 the laptop freezes and needs to close. F11 is not working too. I need a solution!
Thx I needed it bc I downgraded my hp stream 14 laptop/notebook computer from windows 10 to Windows 7 x64 ultimate sp1 with all drivers but I completed the first phase of setup then about half way through the boot animation it bsods and it worked fine when I multibooted the same windows 7 image with windows 11 and 10 on my desktop bit I think I need advanced and power options to switch the sata operation to AHCI. I will report if it work or not.
Side note: reason I need this vid to get to sata operation is bc I have the same bios and some of those vids showing you need sata operation set to AHCI had the same bios as me and the guy in this vid and I was confused on how that was possible until I watched this guy's vid to realize that you have to enter the bios a certain way.
@Evann no, I'm gonna assume it's hardlocked making it impossible to make it appear. I'm gonna guess they did that so people wouldn't do something stupid.
