Hp is the worst printer you can buy , i own an hp latex 365 and i have nothing but a headache since i bought it, real garbage printer, every time i go to print something the image comes out looking like shit, real shit. Colors are bad, smearing, scratches, and so on. i lose a tremendous amount of media trying to get it right each time i go to print something. I tried calling hp customer service, and they have dropped my call 3 times, their customer service is WORSE than their printer. Product support? there is none, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, I am throwing my printer to the trash, not even trying selling it, i am buying an EPSON which is 100 x better, i don't have the heart to sell this piece of garbage to someone else. IF YOU'RE SMART STAY AWAY FROM ANY HP GARBAGE.
I have a hp latex 365 printer. Bought it around September last year. I faced the same problems at first. Then after a lot of experiments i learnt some tricks. Load the media (substrate) hanging 2 inches out of the heater. Cut 3 long strips 1'*3" media and use it to join the media and output core. Will save a Lot of media. Always use vinyl profile for printing on any media. Use 175 to 180 degree Fahrenheit in 6pass 185 to 198 in 8 pass 205 to 225 in 10 pass. Black colour prints need more heat to dry. Adjust accordingly. Keep a heat gun with you in case the print is not complete dry. Keep the same temperature throughout the same series of print. Sometime the media size increases when the temperature is very high. .
