I had a problem with this printer, under Windows 10. Over Network, the color printing option was not available / visible. Solution: In printer device settings, there exists an option for selecting a new driver. There you can scan the list and then select an HP driver of a newer model number. Repeat, until the option is visible.
You can download the drivers from the homepage, no CD needed. It's a WIRELESS printer with ZERO internet LAN jack on the unit to begin with! In the words of Ron White the comedian...Next time you have a thought....LET IT GO!!!
You need to buy a printer that is part of the instant ink program as they order their own ink automatically when it gets low so it needs to be new enough to do that, all new HP printers are part of the program now.
Tried to set this up, kept saying there was a carriage jam and to remove packaging. If it won’t work straight out of the box, I don’t want it. Being returned....
It's because there is transport packaging in the printer, you needed to remove it. It's mentioned in the quick start guide and even the printer error told you. 😉
Greg Thomas there’s a small piece in the printer on the left. Saw it pulled out on another video but can’t find it myself, it seems everyone is having issues with this!
