@@KLGamers I have a question. There is no HDD in my HP 290 G3 - just a Nvme m.2. I want to add a 2.5" ssd into where you have that 3.5" hdd. Can a 2.5" ssd be inserted in that hdd Bay without needing a 2.5" cage / extra bracket?

You must remove orginal DVD-Drive and use "HDD SSD Caddy adapter for laptops" replacing optical drive with hard disk 2,5 inch. For using DVD buy external optical drive connected by USB port if needed. This computer can run 2 x 2.5 inch HDD and 1 x M.2 SSD drive.
