Thanks for posting your repairs. Just from watching you solder and troubleshoot devices has inspired me. Fixed my Microphone amp, LED TV, PAR light meter. This has saved me hundreds of dollars. Watching you solder has shown me how to solder much better. With that said, I am not as good as you but the more I solder, the better I get. I have order the low melt and the solder wick from you. Thanks for quick shipping.

I solder as a hobby, on stuff like failed LED bulbs(I managed to repair a few :D) and other simple stuff, not laptops and phones, and that brush with one end with normal hairs and one end with steel hairs is an awesome tool I didn't know I needed! It's so easy when you clean and the normal brush isn't quite cutting it to just *_(whoop)_* flip the brush and you have a steel sponge!

OK, I had to redo my previous comment because......I just got my order of tweezers, needle tip bottles and flux. Firstly, you can tell immediately that it is real flux. Don't ask questions. You will immediately know. The bottles are perfect and are exactly what I needed. The tweezers. I may be a nerd but I am very picky with my tweezers because they take the most beating and do the most precise work. Your tweezers (Qianli Precision Tweezers bent and straight) and they are extremely light and strong. When I saw the tip I thought man, it might bend. Nope. If you bend them, you did something wrong. either by mistake or bad technique. Thank you very much. Can't wait to try them out on the PS5.

Another big reason to use diffwrent syringes for flux (and paste), is that _the pistons_ that come in factory 10 and 30cc syringes, do not typically have _catches._ so they csn only use floating (no physical connection to the piston) plungers. That means you can't use plungers that _hook into_ the piston, which means you cannot pull on the plunger to relieve pressure from the compression of the piston, to prevent/stop oozing. When doing microsoldering work, especially if on a board you don't want to or cannot remove from its housing/machine, you want as much control of flux or paste volume as possible. You also don't want oozing syringes constantly messing up your work area with flux or solder paste. Funy enough, I did buy some good quality but fake 10cc syringes of amtech flux a couple of years ago, and ended up buying like 10 of them. Because they had pistons with catches and came with hook-in plungers, so I could pull on the piston.

Lunched in March 2015, these HP Spectre x360 seemed to be plagued with problems judging from the number of vlogs you done on these devices, Alex. In contrast, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T530, a laptop purchased in August 2012 that has only had a Wi-Fi problem. Having had memory and solid state storage upgrades and a couple of keyboard replacements, it is still my everyday laptop 10-years later. That stated, I do have a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 GEN for my electronics repair business, a laptop purchased to drive a 43" UHD (3480 x 2160) display.

As your supply of flux comes without syringe plungers that you have to provide to then ship out, would it make more sense and far less plastic waste to have your supplier provide the flux to you in recyclable containers instead of throw away syringes. Just seems a shame, that once empty, each syringe is potentially thrown away when It could perhaps instead be refilled. Just a thought. I have learnt so much since I found your work, thank you from Colin the UK.

I can say this, the solder wicks we use at work fray up on the ends very badly, with just minimal use. We arent using them on flat PCBs, usually, we are soldering camera wires onto USBs, but that solder wick you are using looks like a much higher quality than the stuff we are using.
