This was fantastic. I was able to take off the back of my HP Laptop. The battery was not working. I took the battery out, pressed the power button for 30 seconds. I reinstalled the battery and then put the plug in and powered it up. It is now charging at 15%. Even though your video is to replace the battery, I read that I should try this once I get there. I would never have gotten there without this video. I was clueless as it was a non replacemnt friendly laptop. I also did not know you are not supposed to leave the charger on all the time. This is what depleted my battery. Once it reset, and when I plugged it in it said it would reset the bios. Thank you so much for a very easy to follow process. You are genius! I loved it. Please keep them coming as we need technical people like you to help us. It saved me a trip to Geek Squad! I feel so lucky to have found your video. Thank you again.

ok in order i can get you the correct battery i need you to open up the laptop and get me the battery model, as you can see i point to the battery model @5:44 if you have the stream 11 just simply remove the cover as you would to replace the battery and get the battery info and i can assist you with the correct link.

Regarding your question, there is no cmos battery the CMOS takes it's power from main battery, remove the main battery and press and hold the power button for 60sec and it will reset the CMOS settings.
