HP1 PC Full In-Game Experience - Part 9 Collecting Fire Seeds For Hagrid 

Yeah, the secret areas in this part are so so beautiful. It's a thrill everytime you go into them, never gets old :)

Yeah, I agree! I really like this level design in this part of the game: it's refreshing compared to what we have seen before and I'm quite impressed by the inventiveness of the developers here, that is to say the path through Hagrid's garden and the mountaineous area (caves) behind Hogwarts is really well thought through and most of the area's are quite beautiful (such as the waterfall area's), it's a joy for the eye almost everywhere :) And like you said, the secret areas are amazing indeed. This part of the game is one of the reasons for me when I explain to people why this game is such a good starter in the series (it was so thrilling to play as a kid since it offers really nice places to explore). One of the things I regret is that it is relatively short, I wish it had been a lot longer (especially the fact that the Forbidden Forest part and the part including the Transfiguration Class (with the Spell Challenge Avifors) are missing is such a pity).

It is indeed a bit strange that in order to arrive at the Herbology greenhouses / at Hagrids Hut you have to go through professor Sprouts gardens / the long path to his house each time. This does not make much sense of course but it does not bother me much, otherwise the game would have been even shorter and would we have lost two very nice levels.

Lots of interesting creatures in this level too. I wonder if they appeared in the books or movies. Haven't seen or read them in a long time. I've never noticed that inaccessible opening at 5:30. Hmmmm I wonder if there was supposed to be something up there. Wow the secret area at 10:40 is just amazing!! Got totally stunned when I first saw it!

Pixies and venomous tentaculas we had in the books, the other ones (fire turtles, giant snails) not I think.
