HPI Baja 5T 26cc -My First Baja! ⛽ 

I have so many thoughts running through my head for this truck. Glad it is winter to get it right before usage.

Woo hooo I am excited to have gotten this rig. All the positive feedback is great. Of all the RC I have been around. The baja has been scarce. I have a few simple ideas of things I'd like to do to it. Luckily it is items I have already. Just need a pipe.

Hey thanks man! I am digging this truck already. I have zero experience with the baja platform. But I should figure it out. An auto tech for a real job helps. Sometimes I get burned out working on stuff. But ya man. This truck is big! That body is ginormous lol. I still think the Redcat Dunerunner has a bit longer wheelbase. Not much but a little. @@SteelCityRC I'm very happy you got this finally! Now you will see what a basic BAJA chassis is like. The 2WD makes for a completely different experience than any other Redcat Chassis!

Right on. It needs a few things. I am gonna put a Futaba rx and Superbee in it to try it as is. Then progressively upgrade what is needed. I feel like a little kid. Lol

@@SteelCityRC I've build my street build (the 5t one I have) from scratch from all the leftover parts I have. I really thought I would be busting things running it, but I don't think I've broken many of any parts! If you watch my channel, you know I'm not the best driver lol. So my rigs get a little beat down. I could go on and on but you will see. Awesome choice and so much fun to upgrade and mess with gearing etc. Cafe wait to see you ripping it!

Hello. I have not thought about water cooling this truck. Sounds like you have a very cool idea going. I am trying to keep weight down as I am not replacing the engine. Keeping the CY 26cc in it. I got it running and tuned. Just waiting on a couple parts to get it on the ground. TIT racing. I have heard that name but never used their products. Where are you buying them from? I hope it is fun. Seems like it will be. I think that OBR will work well on there. Just gotta get the pipe ordered and some drivetrain upgrades. Still on the fence Victory big bore or Olimat. I am pretty faithful to Olimat. But rc Ohio has a couple VRC that are impressive.

Yessir - I got the Rampage first. Gave up 2 1/10 SC trucks, senton and slash. Got that gasoline bug and traded three more electric 1/10 RC for the HPI Baja 5T. The truck body is pretty mangled but is has a sand rail body on it that is slick. Hope to hit you up with some questions at some point because I know I'll have them. Only got into RC last year in October.@@SteelCityRC

Hello. I have five rigs with a Killer RC Superbee remote killswitch installed. Never an issue out of any of them. I do have one rig with a Hillantronics killswitch it functions very similar to the Killer RC. Also I hear good things about the MOD remote killswitch. I have yet to try the MOD but do have one for a Losi 5iveB kit I need to put together. If I wss to choose it would be Killer RC Superbee though. Got the MOD from DDM because the Killer RC Superbee was out of stock at DDM.
